New Grey’s Anatomy Season 15 Crossover Teasers Revealed By Producers And Castmembers

Hey,”Grey’s Anatomy” fans. We’ve got some more important teaser intel for you guys concerning the new 15th season of your favorite show. This latest report comes from the mouths of Grey’s Anatomy’s spin-off series “Station 19” producers and castmembers. According to a new report from the folks over at Deadline.com, they revealed that we are definitely going to see more crossover action between Grey’s Anatomy and its spin-off show Station 19 in this new 15th season.

Stars of Station 19 Jaina Lee Ortiz who plays character Andrea Herrera and Jason George who plays character Ben Warren were joined by Station 19 creator Stacy McKee and the Shondaland casting director Linda Lowy at the recent ATX Television Festival in Austin,Texas to talk about these new, upcoming crossover events for Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19.

Stacy McKee started things off by talking about Station 19’s upcoming second season. Se said, “There will be the same amount of heart and humor and action, plus way more. Now we’ve met the characters, we can dig even deeper. We’ve barely scratched the surface.”

From there, Jason George chimed in, and revealed that a lot more of Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 crossover action is in the future. He stated, “I feel like we’ve barely scratched the surface of Grey’s world interacting with the Station 19 world and vice versa. That’s just getting started.” Afterwards, Stacy chimed back in to back up Jason’s statement, saying that will definitely happen.

Stacy went on to describe the similarities and important differences that Station 19 shares with Grey’s Anatomy stating, “It was really important that this show worked as a companion piece with Grey’s but also had a very distinct voice. It’s about being a nice sister to Grey’s but a sister with a little bit of edge.

The one nice thing about the kinds of stories we tell is they run into fires and there’s a lot more action than there typically is on an episode of Grey’s Anatomy, and that automatically heightens the stakes storytelling-wise. It’s keeping the same tone and sensibility but heighten things a bit.”

Lastly, Stacy said of Station 19 that anyone of the characters could die at anytime just like on Grey’s Anatomy. So, no one is ever really safe. She stated, “Yes, anyone could die at any time. That’s the nature of the job, and if you’ve ever watched an episode of Grey’s Anatomy you know.”

This latest Grey’s Anatomy season 15 teaser offering joins the already confirmed teaser that revealed Kim Raver’s Teddy Altman will get more screentime as a new season regular. As we saw at the end of the season 14 finale episode, Teddy surprisingly revealed that she’s pregnant. So, her storyline could get real interesting to say the very least. She’s also been promoted to interim chief of Grey Sloan Memorial by character Miranda Bailey. It’s highly speculated that Owen might be Teddy’s baby daddy too! We’ll have to wait and see.

Kim Raver recently commented about her season 15 promotion to Deadline.com stating,”I am thrilled to reprise the role of Dr. Teddy Altman as a regular. Returning to Shondaland with the incredibly talented Krista Vernoff, Ellen Pompeo and the amazing cast is heavenly. I have a special place in my heart for Teddy and feel very lucky to have the opportunity to continue her story.”

Alright guys. That’s all we’ve got for the new season 15 in this report. Teasers are pretty scarce right now as I don’t even think season 15 will start filming until late July 2018 sometime. Plus, the Grey’s Anatomy producers haven’t spilled any initial details to the press yet.

Hopefully, some more Grey’s Anatomy season 15 stuff will turn up soon, but we’re not holding our breath until at least late July 2018. Stay tuned. Also, be sure to follow us on our Grey’s Anatomy Facebook page for more Grey’s Anatomy news by Clicking Here.
