New ‘Big Brother’ Season 20 POV Winner Revealed For July 29, 2018
Happy Sunday “Big Brother” fans. We hope your weekend is going well. As previously reported, Bayliegh is the new Head of Household this week. She decided to throw Rachel and Brett up on the eviction chopping block this past Friday, July 27,2018 after going back in forth in her mind to possibly put up JC and Brett together with Scottie in mind as a replacement in case one of them came down through a veto win.
Then yesterday evening, July 28, 2018, the Power Of Veto competition was played. JC, Sam and Tyler were all randomly selected to play for it along with HOH Bayleigh and her two eviction nominees Rachel and Brett. After all was said and done, it was the lifeguard boy Tyler who pulled out the victory!
How do you guys feel about Tyler winning the new Power Of veto this week? Are you happy about it? Are you sad about it? Or do you just not care one way or the other? Let us know in the Facebook comments.
According to a report from Big Brother Network, this POV challenge was an individual timed competition. It was mentioned on the live feeds that Tyler pulled out a 6 minute result in whatever it was that they had to do. Brett finished in about 10 minutes and 59 seconds. Bayleigh was able to complete it in around 14 minutes, and the rest of the losers took so freaking long that they ended up timing out.
Will Tyler end up using the veto to pull one of his L6 alliance members off the chopping block this week? That is the major question that we are faced with right now. We know Tyler has been trying to implant in Bayleigh’s mind that Scottie should go up as a replacement nominee if he uses it. However, Bayleigh has been requesting Tyler not to use it. She wants to keep her original nominations the same.
So, it would seem that Tyler is in a bit of sticky situation right now. Of course, there is a lot of time left this week for things to change up. So, we’ll just have to wait and see how things play out.
Yesterday, a lot of discussions took place on the live feeds after the POV competition wrapped up at around 6:22 pm pacific time, July 28, 2018. At one point, Tyler told Brett and Rachel that he is planning to use the veto.
Bayleigh and Tyler had a conversation at around 6:55 pm. During it, Bayleigh made it perfectly clear to Tyler that she doesn’t want the veto to be used. Tyler tried to plant seeds in Bayleigh’s mind that Scottie is his number one and that he tells him everything.
Apparently, this is part of a very elaborate plan for Tyler to use the veto, and then he believes Bayleigh will be so mad that she’ll throw Scottie up as a replacement nominee just to spite Tyler since Tyler has her believing that Scottie is his number one. It would actually be a brilliant plan if it works.
Bayleigh told Tyler that she actually doesn’t care if Rachel or Brett goes home. Meanwhile, Scottie and Angie revealed that they are definitely noticing Tyler’s ability to win comps. They feel that they would need to backdoor him to get him out.
At around 8:55 pm, Bayleigh was seen telling Haleigh, Angela and Angie that she thinks Tyler isn’t going to use the veto, and she hasn’t even considered a replacement nominee yet.
Shortly after that, Rachel started crying to Bayleigh about being stressed out now. Bayleigh tried to comfort her by telling her she doesn’t think Tyler is going to use the veto to save Brett. However, Bayleigh did mention to Rachel that Tyler suggested Angela to be a replacement nominee. That sent Rachel into a bit of a panic mode since that’s her main sidekick in the game.
Elsewhere, Tyler told Angela that he only plans to use the veto if he knows for sure that Scottie will go up as a replacement nominee. Later on, Angela, Kaycee and Rachel sort of came to an agreement that Bayleigh’s claim of Tyler suggesting that Angela be a replacement nominee doesn’t make any sense. Later on, their belief became even stronger when Kaycee told them that Tyler is definitely planning to get Scottie up on the block as a replacement nominee.
At around 11:40 pm, Tyler explained to Kaycee that Bayleigh’s claim of him suggesting that Angela go up as a replacement nominee isn’t true at all. He also told Kaycee that he’s probably not going to use the veto now. Tyler also went and explained this same thing to Angela to calm her down.
At one point, Tyler and Angela actually discussed possibly voting out Rachel instead of Brett this week.
So, it appears that there is quite a bit going on this week in regards to who is actually going home. We can’t even really begin to speculate until we see if Tyler actually uses that veto. We know Bayleigh’s target is Brett, but Tyler is definitely trying to interfere with that plan.
The POV ceremony is scheduled to take place tomorrow, July 30, 2018. After it’s finished, we’ll definitely know who will stay on the block for the rest of this week.
