Big Brother Season 20 Tyler Cripsen And Brett Robinson Just Received Really Great News From CBS
Happy Friday fellow “Big Brother” fans. We’re back at you with yet another pretty interesting Big Brother season 20 report. That’s right. The season may be over, but there is still a lot going on with some of these very popular houseguests Tyler Crispen and Brett Robinson.
Every year, it’s a tradition for CBS to select a few people from the current Big Brother cast to show up in at least one of the episodes of their very popular soap opera “The Bold And The Beautiful.” We’re hearing from the folks over at Entertainment Weekly that indeed both Tyler Crispen and Brett Robinson have been selected to appear on the popular soap opera as guest characters in the Tuesday, October 23, 2018 episode!
Currently, no other details have been revealed about what roles these two guys will play on the show. In fact, it wasn’t even a headline story for Entertainment Weekly. They just threw it in as a little tidbit for a much larger story they did. So, the facts about what they’ll be doing in this episode are very scarce at the moment.
We can see why the details would be scarce as their roles will more than likely be quite insignificant. They’re just appearing as guests characters. Last year, they did quite a bit in terms of volume with Big Brother season 19 houseguest Jessica Graf. They had her appear in about three or four episodes as a waitress at the II Giardino restaurant that’s regularly featured on the show.
They even brought on Jessica’s soon-to-be husband Cody Nickson to appear in a scene with Jessica in one of the episodes. I’ve never seen CBS use Big Brother castmembers in their Bold And The Beautiful soap opera as much as they did with Jessica. So, they must have really liked her. Usually, it’s a one and done deal for most Big Brother houseguests.
That was certainly the case for season 19’s winner Josh Martinez. He was one other season 19 houseguest that was chosen to appear in the Bold And The Beautiful last year. They basically threw him in there as a chef I think. Whatever his character was, he was making meatballs or something to go along with his theme in Big Brother.
Again, we’re unaware of what to expect from Tyler and Brett’s appearance on The Bold And The Beautiful, but it does seem like they could make for some interesting characters in the Bold And The Beautiful mix.
As most of you know, Tyler Crispen was this season 20’s Big Brother runner up after losing to fellow houseguest Kaycee Clark in a very close 5-4 vote this past Wednesday night, September 26, 2018.
Brett Robinson was the sixth place finisher this season after getting heavily blindsided by his Level 6 alliance members in the crazy and wild, LIVE Double Eviction show. We definitely think Brett could be quite entertaining on the Bold And The Beautiful if they let him adlib some stuff. The Bold And The Beautiful producers probably won’t let him though.
In related Big Brother news, host Julie Chen was seen announcing at the end of the season 20 finale show that casting for Big Brother season 21 is definitely in the works. From that bit of intel, I think it’s safe to say that Big Brother has definitely been renewed for season 21 even though CBS has yet to make a formal announcement. We expect to see one from them soon.
Julie Chen also said that Celebrity Big Brother season 2 is still happening. So, be on the lookout for that most likely in the Fall of 2019. We also do expect Julie Chen to return to host Big Brother despite all the issues going on with her husband Les Moonves and CBS. TMZ recently ran an article about it. They said they talked with inside sources for both CBS and Julie Chen.
The CBS sources said they definitely want to see Julie Chen continuing to host Big Brother. Julie Chen’s camp said Julie is definitely on board to continue hosting Big Brother. From that intel, I think we can safely assume that Julie Chen will be back to host Big Brother pending no additional issues arise from this Les Moonves mess. I’m sure more official news about this subject will surface in the upcoming weeks and months. If it does, we’ll certainly let you guys know about it.
