Another Popular, Former Big Brother Couple Just Got Married

Happy Tuesday,”Big Brother” fans. We’re back at you with another big report concerning the alums of Big Brother. It turns out that a huge wedding just happened this past Sunday, October 14, 2018 out in sunny Malibu, California for a popular couple from Big Brother season 19.

According to a recent report from the folks over at People.com, former Big Brother season 19 houseguests and The Amazing Race season 30 winners Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson officially tied the knot. Their wedding took place outside at The Chateau Le Dome at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu, California.

People.com got a chance to talk to the happy couple after they got hitched. Jessica was very excited about it, saying it was their wildest dreams! She stated, “Our wildest dreams came true today. We’re married! Being surrounded by our closest family and friends and sharing this special day with them was all we ever wanted. We are so lucky to have found each other in the most unconventional of ways but we did. We found our forever in each other and can’t wait to begin this new chapter of our lives.”

It’s reported that Jessica and Cody exchanged wedding bands by Joey from Hamra Diamonds. They also exchanged vows that they wrote themselves in front of less than 100 guests. Two of those guests included Mark Jansen and Elena Davies who were also on Big Brother season 19.

Jessica told People.com exactly how she wanted her wedding to look. She wanted it to look like a daydream, dripping in flowers, lots of candles and so on and so forth. She explained, “Fall in L.A. is just so gorgeous out. So, I wanted to be dancing under the stars all night long. I wanted for it to be dripping in flowers, and string lights and lots and lots of candles. I wanted it to look just very romantic. Like a daydream.”

People.com went on to report that Jessica and Cody purposely left two seats empty for loved ones they had lost: Cody’s brother Dylan and Jessica’s father. They pointed out that Cody wore cowboy boots with his tux. Jessica wore a silk gown with a dramatic train designed by Mark Zunino, carrying a bouquet of black orchids and showing off her baby bump. Cody’s 6 year old daughter Paisley Nickson was a flower girl at the wedding. She wore a pink ball gown and a flower crown atop her hair. Everyone else in the bridal party wore all black along with the guests. Jessica commented about her choice of colors for the wedding stating, “I know that’s very untraditional, but I like the picturesque feel of it all.”

And you guys will never guess who actually officiated the wedding. It was the Big Brother head of casting Robyn Kass! Cody explained why they chose Robyn stating, “We wanted it to be somebody that was a part of the special process that even brought us here.” Robyn said she was thrilled to do it stating, “I’m thrilled to have officiated Jess and Cody’s wedding. I’m just so happy for them.”

You guys I’m not sure about the exact number, but I think Big Brother really may have facilitated more marriages than ABC’s The Bachelor and The Bachelorette shows. It certainly seems like it anyways. However, now that I think about it, I get why this is possible. I mean on Big Brother, the couples spend nearly 24 hours together for as long as they’re on the show.

They actually live with each other and only focus on each other. Where as with The Bachelor and Bachelorette shows, I believe they start them out having to pick from 25 to 30 different guys or girls. Then they go out on a couple of dates, and sort of rush the whole process. When I think about it that way, I can see how the failure rate of the Bachelor and Bachelorette shows comes about.

Anyways, back to Jessica and Cody’s big day, People.com went on to report that Jessica and Cody through a big party after they said their “I dos” to each other. Their party featured a donut wall that doubled as a seating chart, a dinner catered from Texas Road House (Nickson’s favorite restaurant), a popcorn installation, a four-foot-tall cake by “Frost It Cakery” and late-night pizza by Big Mama & Papa’s. Plus, there was an open bar from Plant Based Mixologist. They served everyone except Jessica since she’s pregnant.

Speaking of that, Jessica and Cody revealed that their new baby will indeed be another girl during their gender reveal party yesterday, October 15, 2018. Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans from the most recent Big Brother season 20 edition were on hand at that event.

People.com pointed out that Jessica and Cody’s wedding was photographed by Angelica Marie Photo. “Amber Events” was in charge of planning the wedding. The car rentals were handled by Papillon Rentals and White Lilac Rentals. The flowers were from XO Bloom, and Leo Cabal was hired to be the videographer.

At one point, Jessica and Cody danced to “Shut Up and Dance” by Aaron Watson. Jessica revealed that Cody actually sang that song to her while they were in the Big Brother house. She stated, “He sang it to me when we were in the Big Brother house, and we danced to it. It just always sat in the back of my mind as one of our special moments.”

Jessica continued to speak about their time on Big Brother stating, “There was a long time in our relationship where everything we knew about each other, the outside world also new. If you were a live feeder, there were no secrets. It wasn’t until we finally got some alone time outside of the house where we could start getting to know each other beyond what everyone else knew, and I think that was pretty special.”

People.com also revealed what Jessica and Cody’s future plans are. Apparently, they’re going have their honeymoon at the Four Seasons in Bora Bora. After that, they plan to live in their new house in Texas. The house is in Cody’s name. Jessica joked, “In five years, I am going to be on baby probably number three and exhausted. And hopefully, still pretty.”

Cody said, “I mean no matter what we do, we’re both going to be successful at it. I just don’t know what those things are yet. But, whatever it is, we’re going to be successful. And we’re going to have a good, healthy, strong family.”

Well, there you go guys. It looks like Jessica and Cody are about to live happily ever after! How do you guys feel about that? Let us know in the Facebook comments and stay tuned. Be sure to follow us on our Big Brother Facebook page for more Big Brother news by Clicking Here.
