Big Brother 20 Tyler Crispen Is Getting Negative Backlash From Upset Fans Over Something He Did
Happy Sunday, fellow “Big Brother” fans. We hope you guys are enjoying your weekend. We got some pretty interesting news for all you Tyler Crispen fans out there. It turns out that Tyler has been catching a lot of negative heat from a lot of his loyal fans that wanted to hear from him on former Survivor contestant Rob Cesternino’s “Rob Has A Podcast” Big Brother show on Youtube.
It’s reported that Tyler turned them down for an interview, claiming they weren’t nice to him while he was playing his Big Brother season. In other words, he didn’t like the critique they gave of his game play during the season.
According to the folks over at the Inquisitr.com, Tyler hopped on his official Twitter account to break the news to Rob Cesternino. Back on October 12, 2018, Rob took to his official Twitter account to post the following words: “Been hearing all summer that people want to hear TYLER on the podcast and this weekend we’ll finally hear from @TheTFreddy!”
Below that, Tylere’s comment was there. He wrote, “Would have loved to do it… Ya just had to be nice.” You guys can view that Tyler and Rob Cesternino Twitter conversation on Twitter by Clicking Here. So, it sounds like Tyler can’t handle being critiqued at all about his game. Former season 15 winner Andy Herren had some interesting things to say about Tyler’s behavior.
He tweeted out in response to Tyler’s comment, “If I refused to go on any podcasts that talked negatively about me during my season of Big Brother, I would have gone on zero podcasts! I hope Tyler changes his mind about ‘RHAP.’ They’re one of the hardest-working podcasts out there, and they do it all for the fans!”
It’s reported that a lot of people think Tyler’s view of the podcasts that critiqued his game play seems very immature and just unrealistic. Nobody’s exempt from being critiqued. Lots of fans and Big Brother alumni are shocked by Tyler’s behavior towards “Rob Has A Podcast” because they think it is one of the most loyal and well-rounded podcasts regarding Big Brother.
It’s reported that a big fan group on Reddit is complaining that Tyler isn’t showing any appreciation for the people that supported him throughout his time on the show. It turns out that a lot of his fans are starting to get burnt out over his relationship with Angela Rummans who finished in fourth place during Big Brother season 20. They also think his social media postings are boring and superficial.
The Inquisitr tracked down a few of these comments on Reddit. One fan named nb75685 posted, “I mean I don’t care if he isn’t brown nosing the fans, but I’m 100% over the Tangela photo shoots.” They say this commenter got the top comment on this particular thread.
Another post they pointed out was by Reddit user Smokeyblokey. He or She wrote, “His stuff on Instagram is just boring and superficial. I had to unfollow. I don’t want to see ads and posed photos of him and Angela over and over.”
On the flipside, of all this negativity, the Inquisitr did point out that Tyler still has way more of a supportive following. He currently has over 384,000 Instagram followers, and a lot of fans are still showing him a lot of love and support.
In the post season, Tyler has given one podcaster and interview to Eric over at Reality Recaps Youtube channel. I guess Eric never said anything too harsh about Tyler during the season. Anyways, you guys can view Tyler’s post-Big Brother season 20 interview with Eric at Reality Recaps over on Youtube by Clicking Here.
For the few of you who don’t know who Tyler Crispen is, he was the runner-up of the most recent season 20. He lost to fellow houseguest Kaycee Clark after she just went on a rampage of winning nearly all the comps towards the end of the season. It was a narrow jury vote, but Kaycee won it 5-4.
How do you guys feel about Tyler turning down an interview with one of the biggest Big Brother podcasts out there for them being too critical of his game play? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Or do you just not care one way or the other? Let us know in the Facebook comments.
Update: We were able to track down additional intel on why Tyler turned down the Big Brother “Rob Has A Podcast” show. Someone on Reddit.com revealed that “Tyler has never listen to “Rob Has A Podcast” before. He only knows it exists. A group of basically strangers on that podcast contacted him to go on it. He originally agreed to do it.
However, some of his fans brought to his attention that a guy from that group (Brent), personally attacked him and his girlfriend Angela Rummans, calling them famewhores and fake. Tyler then messaged the boss of the podcast Rob Cesternino, and basically said why he would not do it.
Rob in his reply to Tyler was covering for Brent and pretended the problem is him calling Tangela boring. IT IS NOT. Taran contacted Tyler again to try and smooth things over. nAfterwards, Taran went on Twitch and said Tyler was reasonable in his reactions. Taran also acknowledged that the problem with Tyler is likely Brent.
Tyler messaged Taran at the end of his twitch podcast, and said he might go on the podcast someday.” Since all of this drama went down, Tyler has started following Rob Cesternino and Taran on their social media pages. They didn’t specify which ones. It’s most likely Twitter though.
Judging by that additional information, it sounds like there may have been more to it than just them critiquing Tyler’s Big Brother game play. Oh well. Hopefully, that situation can get cleared up in the future.
