Grey’s Anatomy Alex Karev Is About To Try Something Pretty Shocking This Season
Happy Monday, “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. We hope you guys had a great weekend. We’ve got a pretty interesting, new report to share with you guys in reference to Justin Chamber’s Alex Karev character in this current season 15. He’s about to try and do something that’s pretty disappointing and shocking. Richard’s going to try and talk him out of it, but we don’t know if it’s going to be good enough to stop him. We think it might, but who knows?
Before we continue on with this article, we want to warn you guys that it does contain spoiler teasers for the upcoming episode 5. If you don’t want to see any spoiler teasers, I would advice that you stop reading this article right now. For those of you who don’t care, by all means keep on reading it.
Ok, now that we’ve got our little spoiler warning out of the way, let’s get back into this new Alex Karev situation that’s coming up in episode 5. The situation we are speaking of is about Alex’s new Interim Chief position.
ABC recently released a new preview clip for their upcoming Grey’s Anatomy season 5,episode 15, and it features a glimpse at a scene that Alex is going to have with character Richard Webber played by James Picken Jr. In the clip, it turns out that Alex will totally be ready to just up and quit his new Interim Chief job after he faces some difficulty with a patient and has to ask Richard for help.
Apparently, Richard blows up at Alex, telling him that’s it’s pretty annoying having to do his job for him. Those disheartening words causes Alex to just want to give up, but Richard tells Alex he can’t just quit. He has to give the job his all first and then decide if he wants to quit or not.
The scene starts out with Richard telling Alex about a patient, “If you call his mother, we’ll get sued.” Alex said , “So, what do I do?” Richard said, “You know, Karev? The only thing less fun than watching you do this job is doing it for you!” Alex said, “Look, this isn’t a chief thing.” Richard said, “It is. I mean being a chief is nothing but being backed into corners. The trick is finding creative ways to get out.”
Alex said, “Oh, then I found one. I’m telling Billy I quit. You can have the stupid job. You have been pissy about this since the day I started!” Richard said, “No, you’re not allowed to quit. Ok, you may only quit after you have done it to the best of your ability and decided to. Otherwise, it’s not quitting. It’s failing. My mother told me that, and it’s true.”
Alex asked Richard, “So, what were you quitting? Med school?” Richard said, “I didn’t want to play tether ball. I was ten.” Alex said, “This isn’t tether ball.” Richard said, “It’s all tether ball, Karev! Look, kick it’s a@#s, and then decide that you don’t want it! Don’t let it decide that it doesn’t want you.”
After that, Richard just stormed off in frustration, gesturing that it’s useless to continue talking to Alex. Poor Alex. You guys can view the new sneak peek, preview clip for episode 5 I just spoke about over on Youtube by Clicking Here.
