‘Pretty Little Liars’ Lucy Hale Recently Revealed Possible Good News For The Perfectionists Spin Off

Happy Monday, “Pretty Little Liars” fans. We’ve got some very interesting news for you guys in regards to Pretty Little Liars’ new spin off show “The Perfectionists.” It turns out that the former Aria Montgomery star Lucy Hale has weighed in on whether or not she will participate in the new spin off which is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2019. It sounds like very good news too.

According to a recent report from the folks over at Thisinsider.com, Lucy revealed that she would definitely be open to showing up in The Perfectionists spin off series at some point. However, she did say that she thinks her former Pretty Little Liars castmates Janel Parrish aka Mona Vanderwaal and Sasha Pieterse aka Alison Di Laurentis will definitely be the main ones to carry the show, and she’s happy for them.

While promoting her new partnership with Honey Nut Cheerios, Lucy told Thisisinsider that they pretty much did all they could with their Pretty Little Liars characters, and they were happy with it. So, the concept of reprising her Aria role would be interesting.

She explained, “It’s an interesting position to be in because we did so many episodes of ‘PLL,’ and we really did all we could with it. When that ended, a lot of us had really closed that chapter. We said goodbye to our characters, and we were comfortable with that. It was bittersweet when PLL ended, but a lot of us have moved forward in our careers and we’re looking to do different things.”

After that, Lucy said that she would never say “no” to anything and is certainly keeping an option to appearing on The Perfectionists spin-off as an option. However, she definitely respects that her former Pretty Little Liars co-stars Janel Parrish and Sasha Pieterse will be at the forefront of The Perfectionists.

She stated, “That being said, I never say no to anything. I would definitely keep that option open, but it really is Janel and Sasha’s moment to shine. I don’t think they necessarily got as much of those moments on the last show. So, I’m really excited for them. It’s their show. They’re going to carry it, and I’ll be watching from the sidelines and tuning in like everyone else to see what they do with it.”

In addition to Lucy’s positive words for the Perfectionists spin off, Thisisinsider.com pointed out that another Pretty Little Liars alum Shay Mitchell aka Emily Fields revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she plans to gather up as many of her old Pretty Little Liars castmates to watch the first episode of The Perfectionists spin off.

Lucy commented on that, and she revealed she’s definitely down to do it stating, “That’s was so great about the show is that we all are really just rooting for each other and have fun with each other. And obviously, it would be great to see everyone for this thing. It’s been a minute since I’ve seen everybody.”

Lucy also echoed these same, positive words to the people over at the Brit.co website when they interviewed her. They asked her, “Is there any chance you’ll guest star on the spinoff?” Lucy excitedly replied with, “There’s a good possibility! I don’t know exactly what they’re doing with the show, but if there’s a place for Aria, I would absolutely do that.”

How do you guys feel about Aria star Lucy Hale being on board to possibly appear in The Perfectionists spin off series? Are you happy about it? Are you sad about it? Or do you just not care one way or the other? Let us know in the Facebook comments.

As previously reported, The Perfectionists spin off is going to introduce several new characters to go along with Mona and Alison, and the setting will take place in a town called Beacon Heights. Just like Pretty Little Liars, The Perfectionists spin off is based on a book series written by the same author Sara Shepard. It too, will revolve around a murder mystery. So, it sounds like it could be just as interesting as the Pretty Little Liars series. It, just like Pretty Little Liars, is being developed by I. Marlene King.

The Perfectionists was initially ordered as a pilot episode by the Freeform network back on September 25, 2017. Then on May 14, 2018, Freeform decided to go ahead and order 10 new episodes of the show to introduce it as a 10 episode season for its first season. Hopefully, those first 10 episodes will do good enough to get a second season with hopefully more episodes.

As of right now, there’s no specific premiere date that has been announced by Freeform. We expect them to announce it at anytime. So, we’ll keep watching for it. It was recently announced that The Perfectionists is currently doing casting calls for the first season because they’re getting ready start production on the next nine episodes. They already shot the pilot episode back in March 2018.

The title for the second episode has already been revealed. It will be labeled,”Sex, Lies and Alibies.” I like how they made it rhyme. It’s pretty catchy. Oh, we just got some new details on the premiere date. We’re hearing that it’s actually scheduled to debut sometime in January 2019.

However, that could change at anytime. Again, there’s still no exact premiere date given, but we could see it premiere as early as January 2019. So, hopefully we will finally see what this new Perfectionists spin off show has to offer in the not-to-distant future. We’ll definitely let you guys know when the exact premiere date finally gets announced.

Alright guys. That’s going to wrap it up for this latest Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists report, but definitely stay tuned for more. Be sure to follow us on our “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” Facebook page for more Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists news by Clicking Here.
