According to the folks over at Gamespot.com, the Lucky Emblems (Mickey Symbols) are a special type of collectable that you can acquire by taking photos with your Gummi phone, and they will eventually get you the secret ending.
Along with that, collecting all the Lucky Emblems gets you the very valuable ingredient Orichalcum+, which is required to craft the Ultima Weapon. The ultima weapon is the most powerful keyblade in the game.
The first tip Gamespot gave for lucky emblems is that characters Sora, Donald, and Goofy often note when a Lucky Emblem is nearby. They’re usually hidden behind objects, on walls or somewhere up above.
There are different amounts of lucky emblems that you need to collect to get the secret ending depending on the difficulty level that’s being played. Gamespot pointed out that the higher the difficulty level, the less Lucky emblems you’ll need to collect and vice versa.
Gamespot also gave a list of the locations where all the lucky emblems can be found. They are: Olympus, Twilight Town, Toy Box, Kingdom of Corona, Monstropolis, Arendelle, Hundred Acre Wood, San Fransokyo and The Caribbean. Gamespot supplied a special video that features more specific details on how to find and collect the lucky emblems. You can view it on their site by Clicking Here.
As previously reported, you need to collect all 90 Lucky Emblems in order to get the Orichalcum+ material that’s required to craft the Ultima Weapon.. However, you’ll need to track down seven Orichalcum+ materials in order to craft the ultima weapon. The folks over at IGN.com provided some extra details about collecting the lucky emblems and unlocking the secret ending. They mentioned that you will be able to unlock the Gummi Phone, which is required to take the snap shots of the lucky emblems, after you hit up Twilight Town.
They pointed out the specific amount of lucky emblems you’ll need to unlock the secret emblem based on the difficulty level at which you’re playing. For the “Beginner” level, you’ll have to acquire 90 Lucky Emblems. For the “Normal” level, you’ll have to acquire 60 lucky emblems. And for the “Proud” level, you’ll only need to collect 30 lucky emblems. They too, also provided a Mickey Symbols photo locations and guide which can be viewed on their website by Clicking Here.
