‘The Rookie’ Season 2, November 24, 2019 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “The Rookie” fans. We’re going to get straight to the point in this article. We’ve got bad news for you guys. ABC will not be airing the next, new episode 9 of this current second season of “The Rookie” tonight, November 24, 2019.
Instead, you guys are going to have to wait until next Sunday night, December 1, 2019 to see it. Episode 9 going to air in its same 9 pm central standard time slot on ABC of course. So, be sure to make note of that very important date and time on your TV show schedules.
So, what is ABC airing instead of The Rookie tonight. That’s a very good question, and we have an answer. ABC is doing their annual, LIVE coverage of The 2019 American Music Awards tonight. They do this every year. So, it’s certainly not a surprise for us. It lands on that last Sunday of every November.
ABC’s official description of this year’s American Music Awards festivities reads like this, “The 47th Annual American Music Awards will be held on November 24, 2019 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, recognizing the most popular artists and albums of 2019.[1] It will be broadcast live on ABC, and it’s hosted by Ciara.
Post Malone received the most nominations of any artist with seven nominations, followed by Ariana Grande and first-time nominee Billie Eilish with six nominations each. Taylor Swift received the Artist of the Decade award.”
If any of you guys are fans of the “American Music Awards,” you are probably still excited for tonight and will want to still tune in to ABC. However, if you’re not a fan of the American Music Awards, you will most certainly want to find something else to do or watch tonight.

Elsewhere, the former undercover life of officer Harper is going to rear its ugly head again, and it’s going to totally effect a new overnight visit from her daughter in a very negative way!
ABC’s official description for episode 9 reads like this, “Officer Nolan’s trust is tested when he tries to help the previous owner of his home reconnect with his family.
Meanwhile, Officer Harper has finally earned an overnight visit with her daughter that is put into jeopardy when her past undercover life resurfaces again.”
The preview clip for episode 9 features Angela presenting Nyla in her undercover outfit and saying, “Get a good look people. If it goes sideways, do not shoot this person.”
After that, the clip cuts to Nolan saying to Nyla, “For someone who gave up undercover work, you sure do it a lot.” After that, the clip cuts to Nyla getting into some possible serious trouble when an unexpected traveling situation occurs in her undercover operation.
Nolan is seen saying to Angela, “What’s she doing? You said no traveling. We gotta get in there.” Angela says, “They won’t get there in time.”
From there, the clip gets real intense as Nolan rushes to the undercover scene to try and stop these guys from taking Nyla with them. Guns get pulled! It’s a whole big thing. You guys can view the new preview clip for episode 9 over on Youtube by Clicking Here.
