‘The Good Doctor’ Season 3, December 9, 2019 Episode 11 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “The Good Doctor” fans. We are back on here tonight to tell you guys some really bad news unfortunately. It turns out that last week’s episode 10 was indeed the Fall finale episode for “The Good Doctor’s” current 3rd season. That means ABC will not be airing the next, new episode 11 tonight,December 9, 2019.
Oh, no, no,no. Instead, you guys will have to wait around until Monday night, January 13, 2020 to see episode 11. It’s scheduled to air in its same 9 pm central standard time slot on ABC of course. So, be sure to make note of that very important date as soon as you can.
So, what will ABC be airing tonight instead of The Good Doctor? According to the TV Guide listings, ABC will be airing a repeat episode of The Good Doctor. They’re re-airing the 3rd episode of this current season 3. That episode is titled, “Claire.”
ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Dr. Claire Brown faces complications at home and work as she prepares to lead her first surgery.
Meanwhile, a sports fishing accident challenges the rest of the staff as they look to treat the fisherman’s injuries without damaging his prize catch.”
Then, next Monday night, December 16, 2019, ABC will air another repeat episode of The Good Doctor. That one will be the 8th episode of this current season 3. It’s titled, “Moonshot.”
ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Carly’s attempts at increasing her intimacy with Shaun are becoming more of a frustration than either of them expected.
Meanwhile, Lim and Melendez struggle in their relationship as they work to separate their work from their personal life.”
Beyond those two dates, there will probably be more repeat episodes in store until the new episodes start back up.
If any of you guys are in the mood for reruns, you might still want to flip on ABC to catch them. If not,there is no doubt that you will want to find something else to occupy your time for the next couple of weeks.
We were able to track down some extra info for the next, new episode 11 of “The Good Doctor.” ABC released a new preview clip for it. It does contains some light spoiler teasers. If you don’t want to see spoilers, we highly advise you to just close out of this article right now.
If you don’t mind spoilers, we definitely want you to stick around for this. Now that our spoiler warning is all taken care of, let’s go over this new episode 11 preview clip real quick.
It starts out featuring some very interesting scenes with Shaun in bed with Lea. Lea asks Shaun, “You wanna talk about last night?” After that, the clip cuts to Shaun saying, “lying in bed with her. It felt different then it does with Carly.”
Next, Shaun is seen being asked, “Is this your weird way of breaking up with Carly to get with Lea?”
The clip caps off with Carly asking Shaun,”Is there anything going on with Lea that you’re not telling me?” Uh oh. There’s definitely some trouble, trouble, trouble going on there. You guys can view the new preview clip for episode 11 over on Youtube by Clicking Here.
The current ratings and LIVE viewership numbers for “The Good Doctor” season 3 look pretty good. It’s averaging 5.764 million LIVE viewers per episode along with a 0.83 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.
The last episode 10 brought in 6.108 million LIVE viewers and a 0.90 ratings score. ABC has yet to renew “The Good Doctor” for a new 4th season,but it is still very early. I would say the numbers look good enough for a renewal, but we’ll still have to wait and see of course.
Again, ABC confirmed that the new episode 11 is scheduled to air on Monday night, January 13, 2020 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
