‘The Voice’ December 10, 2019 Eliminated Will, Marybeth, Hello Sunday & Kat (Recap)

Hey, “The Voice” fans. Tonight, December 10, 2019,another LIVE episode of The Voice did indeed air, and another four unlucky singers did indeed meet their fate when it was all said and done.

The judges: Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Gwen Stefani were, of course, back again to do what they get paid to do.

Tonight’s episode kicked off with Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins hitting the stage to sing their new song, “Hell Right.”

Shortly after that, host Carson Daly got right down to business by revealing that Katie Kaden of Team Legend is safe this week and through to next week’s finals!

Next, Australian singer Tones and I hit the stage to sing her hit song called, “Dance Monkey.” From there, they bored us with a lot of filler content since we’re down to just a few singers.

Finally, after the boring filler content, Carson revealed that Jake Hoot of Team Kelly is safe and through to the finals!

From there, season 14 alum Kaleb Lee hit the stage with Kelly Clarkson to sing a song called, “I Dream in Southern.” We learned that this is apparently Kaleb’s new song, and it features Kelly doing the harmonies.

After that performance, Carson revealed that Ricky Duran of Team Blake is safe this week and through to the all important finals!

Then, at this point, Carson revealed the singers that will be eligible to compete for the wild card, Instant save to put them through to the finals. Those singers turned out to be: Hello Sunday of Team Kelly, Kat Hammock of Team Blake and Rose Short of Team Gwen.

That unfortunately meant that Will Breman and Marybeth Byrd were the bottom vote-getters this week and were indeed eliminated from the competition. It was the end of the road for them.

Next, Hello Sunday kicked off the sing-off round by singing the song, “Chandelier” by Sia. Afterwards, Kelly yelled, “You are 14 years old!”

Kat Hammock arrived on stage next to sing, “You’ve Got a Friend” by Carole King. Afterwards, Blake told Kat, “This competition is tough, but nevertheless, you have a record to make. Your journey with me has not ended.”

Next,Rose Short hit the stage. She sang, “You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman.” Afterwards, Gwen said, “Obviously America, that was ridiculous! That was magical.” Rose’s performance wrapped up the sing-off round, and the LIVE Instant Save voting commenced.

Rose Short ended up getting 51 percent of the votes to beat out Hello Sunday’s 23 percent and Kat Hammock’s 27 percent. So, Rose took that 4th spot in next weeks finals!

That unfortunately meant that Hello Sunday and Kat Hammock had to also say goodbye to this season’s competition as they were eliminated right on the spot.

Hello Sunday told Kelly, “You’ve really been the mama bear for us.” Kat said, “Working with Blake is the biggest blessing of my life.”

So, just to recap, Katie Kaden of Team Legend, Jake Hoot of Team Kelly, Ricky Duran of Team Blake and Rose Short of Team Gwen are officially your four finalists for this season 17 of “The Voice.”

Sadly, Will Breman of Team Legend, Marybeth Byrd of Team Legend, Hello Sunday of Team Kelly and Kat Hammock of Team Blake were eliminated.
