The Voice December 19, 2023 Season Winner Revealed In Finale Episode (Recap)
Hey, “The Voice” fans. Tonight, December 19, 2023, the LIVE, finale episode of The Voice’s current season 24 did indeed hit the air, and we finally found out who won this thing. All The coaches/judges: Niall Horan, Reba McEntire, John Legend and Gwen Stefani were on hand.
The five finalists were: Huntley and Mara Justine from Team Niall Horan. Ruby Leigh and Jacquie Roar from Team Reba McEntire. Lila Forde from Team John Legend. Gwen had no team members in this season’s finale.
Tonight’s finale episode kicked off with the top 12 contestants hitting the stage to perform an opening number. After that, the coaches/judges hit the stage to perform a rendition of the holiday song titled, “Let it Snow.” Huntley and Niall Horan did a duet to the song, “Knocking on Heaven’s Door” by Bob Dylan.
Reba McEntire and Jacquie Roar teamed up to sing the song titled, “No One Else On Earth” by Wynonna Judd. Keith Urban hit the stage at one point to sing a rendition of his song titled, “Blue Ain’t Your Color.” Teddy Swims hit the stage to sing, “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy Part 1.”
Mara Justine and Niall Horan hopped on stage to perform the song, “Wasted Time” by the Eagles. Indie rock band AJR performed their hit songs, “Bang” and “Yes I’m a Mess.” These songs are featured on their new album titled, “The Maybe Man.” Lila Forde and John Legend sang “Sleigh Ride” by Ella Fitzgerald.
Guest artist Tyla hit the stage to sing her songs titled, “Truth or Dare” and “Water.” Ruby Leigh and Reba McEntire sang “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” by Brenda Lee.
Legendary band Earth, Wind & Fire hit the stage to perform a medley of some of their greatest hit songs. After that, host Carson Daly finally revealed who won this season based on America’s votes from last night’s LIVE performances.
He revealed that Lila Forde took 5th place. Jacquie Roar came in 4th place. Mara Justine snagged the 3rd spot. Ruby leigh took the second aka runner-up spot.
