Hey, “The Voice” fans. It’s that time again. We are back in action to let you know that another new episode of The Voice is hitting your TV sets tonight, October 17, 2023. Tonight’s new episode will be the 8th one for The Voice’s current season 24, and we’ve got some new preview intel for it to dish out to you guys.
NBC served up an official press release for tonight’s new, October 17, 2023 episode 8 . So, we will certainly refer to it for this preview session. Let’s dive into it.
In tonight’s new, October 17, 2023 episode 8, you guys are going to actually see the beginnings of the Battle rounds. That’s right, guys the Blind auditions are officially over as of last night, October 16, 2023. Now, it’s time to really get things going.
During these battle rounds, the coaches/judges Niall Horan, John Legend, Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani will get their singers/contestants ready to go head-to-head against each other in a sing-off. Two contestants from each team will battle each other in a sing-off. Afterwards, the coach from that team will pick a winner of that specific battle to advance to the 3-way knockouts round.
The other coaches will have the ability to steal the contestants that were not picked by the battle round coach to advance. The coaches/judges will have a total of 2 chances to steal a contestant in this battle rounds portion of the season. If more than one coach tries to steal the same singer/contestant at a time, the singer will have to choose which one they want to go with.
NBC’s official description for tonight’s new, October 17, 2023 episode 8 of The Voice season 24 reads like this, “THE BATTLES PREMIERE. The Battle Rounds begin as Niall Horan, John Legend, Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani prepare their artists to go head-to-head in hopes of advancing to the 3-way Knockouts. Each coach has two steals.”
An alternate description tells us,”During the Battle Rounds, the coaches will have two opportunities to steal artists eliminated by their fellow coaches. If more than one coach attempts to steal, the artist chooses between them.”
NBC’s press release confirmed that the next,new, Battle Rounds, episode 8 of The Voice’s current season 24 is indeed scheduled to arrive tonight, October 17, 2023, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time. Tonight’s new episode will just be a 1-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 9 pm central standard time.
