SWAT Season 4, February 3, 2021 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey,”S.W.A.T.” fans. We’ve got some very bad news for you guys in this article. Let’s just get it over with. CBS will, once again, not be airing a new episode of SWAT tonight, February 3, 2021. That means you guys will indeed have to wait a little while longer to see the next, new episode 9 of SWAT’s current season 4.

CBS is also keeping you guys hanging next Wednesday night, February 10, 2021. So, we’re looking at a two-week delay for this new episode 9. CBS has confirmed that they do plan to air the new episode 9 on Wednesday night, February 17, 2021 in its usual 9 pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to make sure that important date and time doesn’t escape your memory.

We found out what CBS has in store instead of the next, new episode 9 of SWAT’s current season 4 tonight. According to the TV guide listings, CBS has a couple of repeat, SWAT episodes lined up for you guys.

Tonight, they will be re-airing the 12th episode of last season 3 titled, “Good Cop.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Hondo and the SWAT team rally to support Street when he puts his life on the line to help his foster brother Nate (Cory Hardrict)
break away from a drug ring, on a rebroadcast of S.W.A.T.

Then, next Wednesday night, February 10, 2021, CBS will re-air the first episode of this season 4 titled, “3 Seventeen Year Olds.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Hondo, his father Daniel Sr. (Obba Babatundé)and his teen charge Darryl (Deshae Frost)confront the history of racial tension in Los Angeles between law enforcement and the Black community, through flashbacks to the city in 1992 following the Rodney King verdict.

Also, the SWAT team pursues El Diablo’s scattered drug cartel hiding in the city and a Jihadist group detonating bombs in coordinated attacks on a rebroadcast of S.W.A.T.”

If any of you guys want to check out these particular repeat episodes of SWAT, you might still want to flip on CBS at that time. If not, you will, for sure, want to get something else planned real, real quick.

Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, we did track down an official press release for the next, new episode 9 of SWAT’s current season 4 from the terrific CBS folks. So, we’ve got some new spoiler scoops for episode 9.

First off, it’s officially titled, “Next Of Kin.” It sounds like episode 9 will feature some very intense, dramatic, action-filled and emotional scenes.

In the new episode 9, The SWAT crew will be involved in a mission that totally ends in tragedy! This terrible development will cause each member of the SWAT team some emotional distress, and they will have to deal with it in their own, different ways.

CBS’ official description for episode 9 reads like this, “A tragic mission leads each member of the SWAT team to contend with their emotional distress in varied ways.”

Episode 9 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Lyndie Greenwood as character (Erika), Adam Aalderks as character (Durham), David Gautreaux as character (Yannick), Kiah Alexandria Clingman as character (Latasha), Edward Gelhaus as character (McBride), Kym Jackson as character (Paige), Michael Nanfria as character (Councilman Dudley), Jesus Ruiz as character (Chief Rivera) and Joe Daru as character (Malhorta).

Episode 9 will feature a few recurring stars. They are: Lou Ferrigno, Jr. as character (Rocker), Bre Blair as character (Annie), Rochelle Aytes as character (Nichelle), Laura James as character (Molly) and Cathy Cahlin Ryan as character (Dr. Wendy).

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 9 are: Shemar Moore as character (Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson), Alex Russell as character (Jim Street), Jay Harrington as character (David “Deacon” Kay), Lina Esco as character (Christina “Chris” Alonso), Kenny Johnson as character (Dominique Luca), David Lim as character (Victor Tan), Patrick St. Esprit as character (Commander Robert Hicks) and Amy Farrington as character (Lieutenant Piper Lynch).

Episode 9 was written by Michael Gemballa, and it was directed by Cheri Dvorak.

Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 9 of SWAT’s current season 4 is scheduled to air on Wednesday night, February 17, 2021 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.

    Why did they ( CBS ) delay the episode is my question ? I didn’t read that anywhere in this article. CBS has put SWAT on hiatus or delays three times now within season 4.
    I’m ready to give up on watching
