The Equalizer Season 1, March 7, 2021 Episode 5 Delayed. Not Airing For A While

Hey, “The Equalizer” fans. Tonight, March 7,2021, we have some very unfortunate news for you guys as we’ve just learned that CBS will indeed not be airing the next, new episode 5 of Equalizer’s current, premiere season 1.

This bad news does get much, much worse because CBS does not plan to air this new episode 5 next Sunday night or the Sunday after that! Nope, CBS has officially confirmed that the new episode 5 is currently scheduled to finally air on Sunday night, March 28, 2021 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely make sure that very important date and time does not slip out of your memory banks.

With that said, we did track down what The CW is planning to air instead of the next, new episode 5 of Equalizer’s current season 1 over the course of these next three weeks. Tonight, CBS is airing an Oprah Winfrey special called, “Oprah With Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Oprah Winfrey sits down with Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex for an intimate conversation.”

Then, next Sunday night, March 14, 2021, CBS will air “The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Festivities at the Staples Center in Los Angeles honor excellence in the recording industry. Trevor Noah hosts.”

On Sunday night, March 21, 2021, CBS will air a repeat episode of Equalizer. It will be the 3rd episode of this season 1 titled, “Judgment Day.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “McCall endeavors to help an escaped prisoner wrongly accused of murder who is too distrustful of the justice system that failed him to accept her aid. Also, McCall worries when her daughter, Delilah, stops hanging out with a close friend, and Detective Dante’s search for McCall takes an unexpected turn.”

If any of you guys are interested in any of these alternate programs from CBS, you might still want to watch CBS during that time. If you don’t want anything but the next, new episode 5 of Equalizer out of CBS, you will certainly want to avoid CBS for the course of this 3-week break.

With all of that said, we did track down an official title for the next, new episode 5 of Equalizer’s current season 1. It’s called, “The Milk Run.” Currently, that’s all we know about episode 5 because CBS has not yet served up the official press release for it.

Equalizer season 1 is currently averaging 11.131 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 1.89 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The last episode 4, which aired last Sunday night, February 28, 2021, brought in 7.781 million LIVE viewers and a 0.75 ratings score. CBS has not yet renewed Equalizer for a new season 2, bit it’s still early. So, we’ll see.

Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 5 of Equalizer’s current season 1 is scheduled to finally air on Sunday night, March 28, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.

Sure is hard to build audience loyalty by repeating the same 3 eps of a brand new show right at the beginning! I believe I’ll have forgotten all about this show by then. There will be something else on Netflix or prime or plex or Hulu or any of the other thousand ways to watch TV. We aren’t dependent on the 3 networks like in the old days!!

OH well, see ya later, equalizer.

Big fan of anything with Queen Latifah! I think this show is very engaging and I hope we see a Season2. It is nice to see a cast with older stars with real life experience, the scripts are good, and I look forward to the episode 5 showing in end of March. I open everyone involved in the show stays healthy and whomever had Covid-19 comes through it with a mild case and gets well soon. Filming anything right now is a real challenge so I feel grateful for any new season shows or new movies right now.

Gee CBS, we are really into enjoying The Equilizer with Queen Latifa. I remember the original Equilizer and this has us enjoying this show. Just as we are getting into it and pre taping, you stop showing it and have the Oprah Winfrey interview. We were sooo disappointed.
Come on, be consistent and please your viewers by airing this show regularly.

March 28!?? And you air a re-run episode the week before you air the new episode?!?!? WHY?? what sense does that even make, just put on the new one. The Equalizer won’t make it season 2 at this rate. Nobody will even remember what season 1 is about.
