Hey, “NCIS: Los Angeles” fans. It’s that time again for us to give you a brand new NCIS: Los Angeles article. We’ve got some very important things to tell you in this one. So, let’s just get right into it. The first thing we need to tell you is that tonight’s episode 18 is indeed the very last one of this current NCIS: Los Angeles season 12.

That’s right, guys. Season 12 is officially done after tonight. We’re pretty sure that all the pandemic, filming difficulties had something to do with this season 12 of NCIS: Los Angeles being shorter than the usual 22 to 24 episodes you guys are accustomed to getting.

The next thing we need to tell you is actually some really great news because it’s the fact that CBS has officially renewed NCIS: Los Angeles for a brand new season 13! That’s right, guys. You can look forward to definitely getting another batch of new episodes thrown at you for the 2021/2022 season.

Currently, we’re not sure how many episodes the new episode 13 will feature. We’re hoping things will get back to normal enough ,on set, to allow the cast and crew to deliver up a full 22 to 24 episode season. We’ll have to wait and see. We presume that NCIS: Los Angeles’ new season 13 will debut sometime this Fall 2021.

According to the folks over at TVLine, the new season 13 was ordered by CBS back in late April 2021, and it happened concurrent with CBS ordering a season of a new NCIS spin off called, “NCIS: Hawaii.”

In addition to NCIS: Los Angeles’ new season 13 renewal and the ordering of another NCIS spin off NCIS: Hawaii, CBS renewed The Equalizer for a new season 2, FBI for a new season 4, FBI: Most Wanted for a new season 3, Bob Hearts Abishola for a new season 3, The Neighborhood for a new season 4 and Young Sheldon for new seasons 5, 6 and 7! If any of you guys like any of those shows, that’s extra good news for you.

On the bad end of things, CBS canceled NCIS spin off show NCIS: New Orleans, Mom and MacGyver.

NCIS season 12 averaged 5.634 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 0.60 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 17, which aired last Sunday night, May 16, 2021, drew in 5.846 million LIVE viewers and a 0.62 ratings score.

The most-viewed episode was episode 1 with 6.349 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 5 with 3.860 million LIVE viewers.

The highest-rated episode was episode 1 with a 0.80 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 5 with a 0.39 ratings score. Those numbers were obviously good enough for CBS to grant it a new season 13. So, again, that is just wonderful news.
