SWAT Season 5, October 29, 2021 Episode 5 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey “S.W.A.T.” fans. In this article, we unfortunately have some very bad news for you in this article. It turns out that for some unknown reason, CBS will not be airing the next, new episode 5 of SWAT’s current season 5 tonight, October 29, 2021.

The good news is that this particular delay is just for this week. CBS has let us know that they do plan to air the new episode 5 next Friday night, November 5,2021 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to not forget that very important date and time.

We did find out what CBS is airing instead of the next, new episode 5 of SWAT’s current season 5 tonight. According to the TV guide listings, CBS is going to air a repeat episode of SWAT. This repeat episode will be the 5th episode of last season 4 titled, “Local Heroes.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “The team tries to track down a media-savvy crew of bank robbers who consider themselves a band of modern-day Robin Hoods. Hondo and Deacon clash over how to deal with a group of cops’ racist views.”

If any of you guys are up for watching this particular repeat episode of SWAT, you might still want to flip on CBS tonight to watch it.

If you only want to watch the next, new episode 5 of SWAT season 5 and nothing else, you will most certainly want to get some other plans mapped out for tonight.

Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, we were able to round up a couple of new, official teaser scoops for the next, new episode 5 of SWAT’s current season 5 from CBS’ official episode 5 press release. So, we’re going to blast those at you right now.

To start, CBS let us know that this new episode 5 is officially labeled/titled, “West Coast Offense.” It sounds like episode 5 will feature some more very intense, dramatic, interesting, possible action-filled and suspenseful scenes.

CBS’ official description for episode 5 tells us, “When the team responds to a home invasion call, they uncover a murderous plot against a famous pro football quarterback. Also, Hicks gets a long-awaited lead on a Jane Doe case he worked 20 years ago on the CBS Original series S.W.A.T.”

An alternate description reads like this,”THE TEAM UNCOVERS A MURDEROUS PLOT AGAINST A FAMOUS PRO FOOTBALL QUARTERBACK.”

Episode 4 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Quincy Chad as character (Nichols), Shelli Boone as character (Carolyn), Joel Johnstone as character (Wolf), Jock McKissic as character (Wagner), Liam Johnson as character (Greer), Phillip Brandon as character (Dips), Amy Benedict as character (Gail) and Nandini Bapat as character (Asst. Manager).

Episode 5 will feature one recurring star. That one person is: David DeSantos as character (Rodrigo Sanchez).

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 5 are: Shemar Moore as character (Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson), Alex Russell as character (Jim Street), Jay Harrington as character (David “Deacon” Kay), Lina Esco as character (Christina “Chris” Alonso), Kenny Johnson as character (Dominique Luca), David Lim as character (Victor Tan) and Patrick St. Esprit as character (Commander Robert Hicks).

Episode 5 was written by Kent Rotherham, and it was directed by Stephanie Marquardt.

CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 5 of SWAT’s current season 5 is scheduled to finally hit the air next Friday night, November 5, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
