The Flash Season 8, April 20, 2022 Episode 12 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “The Flash” fans. Unfortunately, we have some bad news for you guys, tonight. For some unknown reason, The CW people are not airing the next, new episode 12 of The Flash’s current season 8 tonight, April 20, 2022. That’s right, guys. The Flash will be MIA (missing in action) this week.
The good news in all of this is that this particular delay is just isolated to this week. The CW has informed us that they do plan to air the new episode 12 next Wednesday night, April 27, 2022 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to lock that very important date and time into your memory.
We did take a look at what The CW will be airing in place of The Flash tonight. According to the TV guide listings, The CW is going to air a special called,”Freddie Mercury: The Final Act.”
The CW’s official description for it reads like this, “Showcasing the extraordinary final chapter of Freddie Mercury’s life and how, after his death from AIDS, Queen staged one of the biggest concerts in history; featuring interviews with Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen.”
If this special sounds like something you guys might want to check out, you might still want to hit up The CW tonight. If you only want to watch new episodes of The Flash, you will certainly want to line up some alternate plans as quick as possible and check back with The CW next Wednesday night.
Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, The CW did provide us with some new, official teaser descriptions for the next, new episode 12 of The Flash’s current season 8 via their official episode 12 press release.
In it, they let us know that this new episode 12 is officially labeled/titled, “Death Rises.” It sounds like episode 12 will feature some very intense, dramatic, action-filled, suspenseful, scandalous and interesting scenes.
The CW’s official description for episode 12 reads like this,”With a new Meta terrorizing the city, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) lends a hand to the local authorities. Meanwhile, Barry (Grant Gustin) gets an assist from Cecille (Danielle Nicolet) who helps to track the mass murderer.”
Episode 12 was directed by Phil Chipera. The story is by Alex Boyd ,and the teleplay is by Arielle McAlpin & Dan Fisk.
Again, The CW confirmed that the next, new episode 12 of The Flash’s current season 8 is indeed scheduled to finally hit the air next Wednesday night, April 27, 2022 at approximately 7 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream on The CW App and CWTV.com the day after broadcast for free.
