Chicago Fire Season 11 March 8, 2023 Episode 16 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Chicago Fire” fans. Unfortunately, we have some bad news for you guys in this session. Yeah, it turns out that the NBC people are not airing a new episode of your favorite show Chicago Fire tonight, March 8, 2023. That’s right, guys. The next, new episode 16 of Chicago Fire’s current season 11 will be missing from NBC’s primetime line up tonight.
The reason is that new episodes of Chicago Fire are currently being held back for two weeks for some reason we’re not aware of. NBC’s official episode 16 press release is telling us that NBC plans to finally air the new episode 16 on Wednesday night, March 22, 2023 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be on the lookout for the new episode 16 on that important date and time.
In the meantime, we did find out what NBC is going to air in place of new Chicago Fire episodes tonight and next Wednesday night. According to the TV guide listings, NBC has a couple of Chicago Fire repeat episodes all queued up and ready to play. Tonight, they’re going to re-air the 6th episode of this season 11 titled, “ALL-OUT MYSTERY.”
NBC’s official description for the repeat episode 6 of Chicago Fire season 11 reads like this, “Severide and Kidd investigate an explosion at a jewelry store. Cruz and Chloe take steps to make Javi a permanent part of their family. Gallo, Ritter and Mouch try to bond with Carver.”
Next Wednesday night, March 15, 2023, NBC is going to re-air the 7th episode of this season 11 titled, “ANGRY IS EASIER.” NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “Herrmann is tasked with fulfilling a man’s dying wish. Kidd reflects on her Girls on Fire program after one of her students graduates from the Fire Academy. A heckler harasses Firehouse 51.”
If any of you guys have any desire to watch these particular repeat episodes of Chicago Fire for whatever reason, you might still want to stick with NBC tonight and next Wednesday night. If you’ll only accept brand new episodes of Chicago Fire, you will certainly want to get some other plans lined up at your earliest convenience.
Spoiler Warning: We did get a hold of another new, official teaser description for the next, new episode 16 of Chicago Fire’s current season 11 via their official episode 16 press release. It revealed that episode 16 is officially named/titled, “ACTING UP.”
NBC’s official description for episode 16 reads like this, “Cruz feels the burden of his increased responsibilities. Kidd, Gallo and Carver get caught in the middle of a gang war on a call. Herrmann wrangles Trudy for help lifting Cindy’s mood.”
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 16 of Chicago Fire’s current season 11 is scheduled to finally make its way to your TV sets on Wednesday night, March 22, 2023 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot.

I don’t know why NBC can’t just run the Chicago Fire shows each week ,so that the faithful watchers can smoothly watch the story enfold! Why do they have to mess up?
