New America’s Got Talent August 1, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “America’s Got Talent” fans. We’re back with some wonderful news for you guys because the people over at NBC are going to serve up another new episode of America’s Got Talent tonight, August 1, 2023. That’s right, guys. NBC is going to serve up the next, new episode 9 of America’s Got Talent’s current season 18 tonight, and this one will feature some new auditions unlike last week’s episode.
We’ve got some new preview info for tonight’s new episode straight from NBC’s official episode 9 press release and the folks over at MJSbigblog.com. So, we’re going to dig into all of that for this preview session. Let’s get into it.
To start, NBC let us know that more initial audition rounds will continue in tonight’s new, August 1, 2023 episode 9 of America’s Got Talent season 18. That means you’re going to see even more variety acts of all ages from around the country show up to try and make it through to the next round. One lucky contestant will get the opportunity to make it straight through to the LIVE shows via The Golden Buzzer.
NBC’s official description for tonight’s new, August 1, 2023 episode 9 of America’s Got Talent season 18 reads like this, “AUDITIONS 8. The auditions continue as a variety of acts, featuring contestants of all ages, audition for the chance to win the $1 million prize. The Golden Buzzer is back, allowing a lucky act the chance to go directly to the live shows to compete for America’s vote.”
We were also able to get a hold of a list of the contestants that are showing up in tonight’s new episode from the folks over at MJSbigblog.com.
The first contestant we have on the list is: Bomba Circus. They’re a Comic Circus Show from Israel. It consists of: Amit, Noam, and Yaron. They do juggling, hoops and acrobats. They do them in a comedic and slapstick style. They have performed at several festivals and celebrations across Israel.
Dev is a Singer. He appeared on Season 14 of Britain’s Got Talent where he wowed the judges and audience with an angelic rock voice covering Queen’s “I Want to Break Free” while dressed as a devil. He made it past auditions, but he failed to make the semifinals.
Duo Acero is an acrobatic duo made up of Edison Acero and Giselle Souza. They perform hand balancing strength, aerial strap, hoops and Chinese pole acts. They’ve toured across Europe, performing at several circus shows.
Gabriel is a singer from Brazil. He has a range that allows him to hit whistle notes. Back in 2019, he appeared on Brazilian talent show, Programa Raul Gil.
HB Monte is a DJ, Producer, Songwriter and Hip Hop artist. He makes mashups of pop and hip hop songs, and he is the co-founder of My Digital Crew. According to his LinkedIn, he has worked with artists like Pitbull and T-Pain.
Kylie Frey is a Nashville based singer, originally from Louisiana. She made USA’s Real Country finale in 2018 representing Shania Twain and placed 7th.
Leonard Lee is a Dog Act. Leonard Lee is a Border Collie owned by Teresa Hanula from Fairfax, Virginia. They were featured on Live with Kelly and Ryan’s Record Breaker Week where Leonard broke the record for Most Basketball Slam Dunks in One Minute by a Dog. He has broken Guinness World Records in both 2021 and 2022. Among his talents is painting.
Noodle & Bun is a band that’s made up of 3 animated stuffed animal-like figures. Noodle appeared on Britain’s Got Talent back in 2023.
Pulse Percussion is a Southern California based youth-arts organization that hosts clinics and has percussion teams. Both Pulse and POW Percussion perform competitively in the Southern California Percussion Alliance and at a national level in the Winter Guard International Sport of the Arts. For the 2nd year in a row, Pulse Percussion won the WGI World Percussion Championship Finals.
Rob Potylo is a comedic singer who often goes by the persona Robby Roadsteamer. He has a YouTube series that lasted several seasons titled Quiet Desperation. His character is rock dude who came up in the iconic Boston rock scene. He has also appeared on ABC’s The Gong Show.
Summer Rios is a viral singer from Brunswick, Ohio who has 338K followers on Instagram and 498K followers on Tik Tok. She appeared to have auditioned for last season of American Idol, but her segment was never aired.
Sunny Chatum appears to be a comedic singer as his one reel seems comedic and a quick Google search with a broken link shows he had some part in the Crazy Show Comedy Production.
True Villains is a Nashville based hard rock band fronted by Beau Lastavich. While gigging, they attracted the attention of Nick Raskulinecz who has worked with bands like Foo Fighters and Alice in Chains. They eventually recorded some songs with him.
Twinjas is a martial arts duo made up of twin brothers Jonny & Ollie who have been featured on Ninja Kidz TV. The two are also part of Gap’s marketing campaigns in 2023 as child models. Additionally, they were featured on Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg on Peacock where they taught Kevin and Snoop some lessons.
Zion Clark is a wrestler and athlete who was born with no legs. Netflix did a short documentary in 2018 featuring Zion titled ZION, and it won two Emmys at the 40th Sports Emmy Awards. He competed on the Kent State wrestling team in college and also won his MMA debut. Zion was featured as The Fastest Man on Two Feet by Guinness World Records.
NBC’s press release confirmed that America’s Got Talent will be brand new again tonight, August 1, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit your TV screens, starting at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
