20/20 August 11, 2023 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “20/20” fans. We’re back in your faces to let you know that ABC will indeed give you another episode of 20/20 tonight, August 11, 2023. It will not be a new episode since we’re in the offseason, but some of you guys might not have seen this particular repeat episode when it originally aired. So, we do have some preview information for it.
We were able to get a hold of ABC’s official press release for tonight’s August 11, 2023 repeat episode. So, we will certainly reference it for this preview session. Let’s go.
For starters, tonight’s August 11, 2023 repeat episode of 20/20 does have an official title. It’s called, “Tragic Beauty: Anna Nicole Smith.”
In tonight’s August 11, 2023 repeat episode, the 20/20 team followed Anna Nicole Smith’s then 14 year old daughter Dannielynn Birkhead around while she visited some of the most influential places in Anna Nicole’s life. One of the places they hit up was Mexia, Texas, which is a town where Anna Nicole Smith spent a little bit of her childhood.
Dannielynn met one of Anna Nicole Smith’s high school friends, and she visited one of the places that Anna frequented before becoming famous. They also hit up Los Angeles, California and visited several sentimental locations. Dannielynn also got to see some of Anna Nicole’s memorabilia of her life and career that was stored in a storage locker. This episode also featured interviews with some people that were closest to her and also some material from the ABC News archives.
The 20/20 team also reported on the dichotomy between who Anna Nicole was in the spotlight and who she was in private as Vickie Lynn Smith, her rise to fame, life in the limelight, her tragic death in Florida and the unanswered questions about her death.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s August 11, 2023 repeat episode of 20/20 reads like this, “On the anniversary of Anna Nicole Smith’s death, her daughter visits the most influential places in her mother’s life.” An alternate description tells us, “20/20′ REPORTS ON ANNA NICOLE SMITH’S RISE TO FAME, LIFE IN THE LIMELIGHT, AND TRAGIC DEATH.”
If any of you guys happened to have missed that repeat episode of 20/20 when it originally aired, you might still want to flip on ABC tonight to check it out. If you did see this repeat episode when it originally showed up on air, and you have no desire to see it again, you will certainly want to make some other plans for tonight at that time.
Again, ABC’s press release confirmed that 20/20 will be a repeat episode again tonight, August 11, 2023, and it’s scheduled to show up on your TV screens, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
