Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars August 16, 2023 Episode 10 Is The Finale. Season 2 Not Yet Confirmed
Hey, “Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars” fans. We hope you guys totally enjoyed tonight’s episode 10, especially since it was the very last episode of Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars’ current, premiere season 1. That means it will quite possibly be the last episode you will ever see of it forever.
Unfortunately, we can’t tell you whether or not FOX plans to renew the show for a brand new season 2 at this time because FOX has not put out an official announcement for it yet. But, here’s what we can do. We can take a look at the LIVE Nielsen ratings for season 1 to see how it performed for FOX. From there, we can try and serve up an educated guess on the chances of a season 2 renewal. So, let’s get that done.
According to the LIVE Nielsen ratings, Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars season 1 averaged 1.471 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.26 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 9, which aired last Wednesday night, August 9, 2023, managed to draw in 1.438 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.22 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was episode 2 with 1.670 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 1.225 million LIVE viewers. The highest-rated episode was episode 2 with a 0.29 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 8 with a 0.19 ratings score.
Judging from those numbers, it could go either way, especially in the landscape we’re dealing with, right now, where there’s no scripted shows due to the writers and actors strike. Also, there’s the fact that FOX just seems to love the heck out of Gordon Ramsay. I mean he’s currently doing at least 4 shows for FOX at the moment.
The numbers that Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars season 1 put up for FOX aren’t spectacular, and they’re not bottom of the barrel horrible either. So, we could definitely see FOX renewing it for a new season 2, especially if they don’t hardly have anything else to air. We’ll see.
