Saturday Night LIVE September 16, 2023 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “Saturday Night LIVE” fans. Unfortunately, we are back on here with more bad news as the WGA writers strike is still halting NBC from being able to get some new Saturday Night LIVE episodes made. So, another repeat episode will get shown tonight, September 16, 2023.
That’s right, guys. The latest round of news we’re hearing about this strike is that the WGA writers union and the studios have agreed to have another round of negotiation talks as early as next week.
According to Deadline.com, someone for the AMPTP union which represents the studios said, “On Wednesday, September 13, the WGA reached out to the AMPTP and asked for a meeting to move negotiations forward. We have agreed and are working to schedule a meeting next week.
Every member company of the AMPTP is committed and eager to reach a fair deal, and to working together with the WGA to end the strike.” So, hopefully, the WGA and the studios will finally get a deal done in this next meeting. Cross your fingers.
With all that said, we were able to track down which repeat episode of Saturday Night LIVE that NBC is going to air tonight. They’re going to re-air the one that originally aired back on April 15, 2023. It featured 35 year old Cuban and Spanish actress Ana de Armas showing up to do the hosting duties. 32 year old Columbian singer Karol G showed up to deliver some musical performances.
If any of you guys happened to have missed that particular repeat episode of Saturday Night LIVE when it originally aired, you might still want to tune into NBC tonight to check it out. If you did see this repeat episode when it originally aired, and you have no desire whatsoever to watch it again, you will definitely want to make some alternate plans for tonight at your earliest convenience.
Again, it’s been confirmed that Saturday Night LIVE will be a repeat episode again tonight, September 16, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit your TV screens, starting at approximately 10:29 pm central standard time on NBC.
