New 60 Minutes October 22, 2023 Extra Long Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “60 Minutes” fans. We’ve got some extra wonderful news for you in this article because the people over at CBS have a special, extra long, 90-minutes episode of 60 Minutes all queued up and ready to go tonight, October 22, 2023. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s new episode will be the 6th one for 60 Minutes’ current season 56, and we’ve got some new preview info for it.
We were able to track down a new, official press release for tonight’s new, October 22, 2023 episode 6 from the CBS folks. So, we are going to certainly see what it has to say for this preview session. Let’s get into it.
The first description reveals that the 60 Minutes team will deliver a segment titled, “THE FIVE EYES.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Scott Pelley sits down with FBI director Christopher Wray and intelligence chiefs from the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and New Zealand to ask whether the Israel-Hamas war has raised the terror threat at home in the United States and around the globe. Aaron Weisz is the producer.”
The second description reveals that there will be a segment titled, “A PRISONER OF IRAN.” CBS’ description for it reads like this, “Margaret Brennan conducts the first interview with one of the five American prisoners freed from Iran last month.
With 200 hostages reportedly being held in Gaza, and 13 Americans unaccounted for, Emad Shargi’s harrowing story is a stark illustration of the difficulties and perils involved in bringing citizens home. Andy Court is the producer.”
The 3rd description reveals that there will be a segment titled, “PINK.” CBS’ description for it reads like this, “Cecilia Vega profiles international punk rock, pop princess Alecia Moore – also known as Pink – as she celebrates 25 years of her successful music-making career. Vega meets Pink at her home in California, stops backstage on her tour and traces her somewhat troubled journey to superstardom. John Hamlin and Kara Vaccaro are the producers.”
The 4th and final description for tonight’s new, October 22, 2023 episode 6 lets us know that 60 Minutes will feature a segment titled, “THE ISLE OF MAN.” CBS’ description for it reads like this, “Bill Whitaker reports from the Isle of Man on the longest-running and most dangerous motorcycle race on earth: the Isle of Man TT.
Once the seat of a Viking kingdom, the 30-mile long island sits in the middle of the Irish Sea, with England to the east and Ireland to the west. CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 6 of 60 Minutes’ current, premiere season 56 is indeed scheduled to hit your TV screens tonight, October 22, 2023, starting at approximately 6:30 pm central standard time. Again, tonight’s new episode will be a special, extra-long, 90 minute event. So, expect to see it wrap up at 8 pm central standard time.
