Big Brother November 9, 2023 Winner Revealed In Finale Episode (Recap)

Hey, “Big Brother” fans. Tonight, November 9, 2023, the finale episode of Big Brother’s current season 25 did indeed hit the air, and we finally found out who won this thing. Tonight’s new, finale episode kicked off with footage of the first part of the final 3-part HOH competition.

Bowie told the Diary room aka private cams, “I have a final 2 with Jag, but it’s important that I win this round. The comp came down to Jag and Matt, and they played a game of rock, paper, scissors to determine who dropped first. Jag lost. So, he dropped. Jag told the private cams, “I’m super proud of Matt for winning the first part HOH.”

Next, we got to see some footage of the jury roundtable event. Big Brother legend Dr. Will Kirby showed up to host it again. The most recent jury member Felicia showed up to join them, and she told them how she got evicted. Then, they talked about the final three: Bowie Jane, Jag and Matt’s game play.

They said Matt had a great social game. However, they said his flaw was not owning any of the game moves he made. Cameron said he was impressed that Jag was able to come back after being unanimously voted out and now has a chance to win. They mentioned that Bowie Jane made it through the season without ever being nominated for eviction.

After the jury roundtable segment, we got footage of Jag and Bowie Jane’s second round HOH competition. It was a physical/mental challenge where they had to run around and put things in their proper order. The one with the fastest time, won. When it was all wrapped up, Matt revealed that Jag won it with a time of 1 hour and 2 minutes to Bowie Jane’s 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Matt told the private cams, “I’m super stoked that Jag won part 2 because we’ve both promised each other final 2.” Bowie told the private cams that she also has a final 2 deal with Jag.

Next, Jag and Matt battled it out in the final part 3 of the final HOH competition. This comp was titled,”Juryverse.” It was a true or false quiz about how well they know their houseguests. It came down to a tie breaker question, and Jag won it to claim the final HOH of this season. He got to pick who to take to the final 2.

Matt and Bowie gave their final plea speeches to Jag. Then, Jag said, “I have to evict you Bowie Jane even if I lose 6-1 to Matt in the final 2. He save me in week 4 when my back was against a wall. I have to do the right thing.” Bowie Jane had a great attitude about it and gave Matt and Jag a hug on the way out.

During her exit interview, Bowie Jane told Julie,”I’m proud of Jag. He’s been with Matt since the start. He had to do the right thing by him.” Next, they brought out the jury members, and Bowie joined them to ask Matt and Jag some final questions before they cast their final votes for the winner of this season.

During the question and answer segment, Matt said,”My biggest move was saving Jag’s game. We made team moves together. I was never going to evict Jag. I just played on everyone’s side and told them what they wanted to hear. I used information when I needed to.”

Jag said, “There was a leader, and it was me the whole time. I paved out our path to the final 2. Ever since Matt saved me, I adjusted my entire game to make it to the end. Matt only saved me because of my relationship with him. That is a testament to my social game.”

After the question and answers segment, Matt and Jag gave their final speeches to the jury. Matt said, “I’m the first def person to play Big Brother. I lived in the have-not room to make connections. I had a great social game. I never got put up until Jag had to put me up in the end. I performed in competitions when I needed to. Then, I backed away because I had a great social game and didn’t need to keep winning comps.”

Jag said, “I signed all of your eviction notices. You’re all sitting there because of me.” Then, he pointed out all the reasons why they’re sitting there ,and he told them, “I’m the greatest most strategic player of this season, and you need to vote the correct way and crown me the winner of this season.”

Next, the jury cast their votes for the winner. Then, they brought on the pre-jury castmembers: Mecole, Reilly, Red ,Hisam, Jared, Izzy and Kirsten.

During this segment, Bowie confessed that she is a criminal trial attorney. She also confessed that she’s actually 45 and not 35. Cirie and Jared revealed they’re mother and son. Felicia said, “No wonder I couldn’t break through that!” Reilly told Matt,”I’ve been rooting for you 24/7. I’m so excited to see you and have our important conversation.”

After all of that, host Julie Chen-Moonves revealed the jury votes. Bowie, America, Blue, Corey and Cameron all voted for Jag to win. Felicia and Cirie voted for Matt to win. So, by a landslide vote of 5-2, Jag won Big Brother season 25 tonight and the $750,000 dollars. Matt won $75,000 dollars for runner up. It was revealed that Cameron won America’s favorite player for the $25,000 dollars.

To cap everything off, Julie announced that there will be a new Big Brother Reindeer games special, which is premiering on Monday, December 11, 2023. It will feature former Big Brother castmembers along with someone from this most recent season 25. It will feature a total of six episodes to cap off on December 21, 2023. 9 players will compete in it for a chance to win $100,000 dollars.
