The Golden Bachelor November 30, 2023 Episode 9 Is The Finale. Season 2 Not Yet Confirmed
Hey, “The Golden Bachelor” fans. We hope you guys totally enjoyed tonight’s episode 9, especially since it was indeed the very last episode of the Golden Bachelor’s current, premiere season 1 and possibly forever because we can’t currently confirm if there will be a new season 2 or not. ABC hasn’t made any official announcements for a new season 2 yet.
However, ABC does have an application on their site, which says they are looking for new applicants for The Golden Bachelor. So, that does imply that it’s highly likely that ABC will go ahead and bring it back for a new season 2 at some point in the future. We’ll just have to wait and see.
While we’re waiting, we can take a look at the LIVE numbers that The Golden Bachelor season 1 put up for ABC and kind of get an idea of what they’ll most likely do. According to the LIVE Nielsen ratings, The Golden Bachelor season 1 averaged 4.524 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.57 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.
The most recent episode 8, which aired back on November 16, 2023, drew in 5.267 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.65 ratings score. The most-viewed episode was episode 8 with the 5.267 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 3 with 3.929 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was episode 8 with the 0.65 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 3 with a 0.48 ratings score. I must say those are some really good numbers. They’re definitely on par with the other Bachelor Nation shows that have been running for years and years. So, I definitely wouldn’t be surprised if ABC did come out with a new season 2 of The Golden Bachelor at some point in the future, especially since they do indeed have an application for it on their site.
