Found Season 1 January 16, 2024 Episode 13 Is The Finale. Season 2 Is Happening
Hey, “Found” fans. We totally hope you enjoyed tonight’s episode 13, especially since it was indeed the season finale episode of Found’s very first season 1. Yep, that means you guys will have to wait quite some time to see another new episode of Found, but here’s the good news. We can officially confirm with you, right now, that NBC has indeed renewed Found for a brand new season 2!
That’s right, guys. Found will be back with another new season at some point in the future. According to the folks over at NBC.com, the season 2 renewal actually came quite early, way back at the end of November 2023. Found was renewed for a new season along with another one of NBC’s new shows “The Irrational.”
During this renewal announcement, the President of NBC Universal’s Scripted Content Lisa Katz had some wonderful things to say about these two shows stating, “These shows are a testament to the incredibly passionate work of our showrunners, Nkechi Okoro Carroll [Found] and Arika Lisanne Mittman [The Irrational], both of whom have executed their visions flawlessly.
A huge thank you to the talented cast, producers, and crews for their tireless commitment and dedication, which has clearly paid off with audiences making these series must-see television on both NBC and the next day on Peacock.”
Currently, there’s no information about the start date for Found’s new season 2, or how many episodes it will feature. So, we will have to give you guys that information at a later date.
According to the LIVE Nielsen ratings, Found season 1 averaged 3.132 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.32 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 12, which aired last Tuesday night, January 9, 2024, managed to draw in 2.418 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.26 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 3.762 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 12 with 2.418 million LIVE viewers. The highest-rated episode was the premiere episode 1 with a 0.40 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 6 with a 0.25 ratings score. Those numbers probably double after you include the numbers from the streaming platforms. So, that’s a pretty solid performance for today’s landscape.
