The Bachelor February 5, 2024 Eliminated Evalin, Chrissa & Starr (Recap)

Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, February 5, 2024, another new episode of The Bachelor 2024 edition with headliner Joey Graziadei hit the air, and we saw another set of women get their walking papers at the end of it.

Tonight’s new episode kicked off with host Jesse Palmer delivering the group date card to the ladies. then, it was revealed that Allison, Chrissa, Edwina, Kelsey A., Maria, Madina, Lexi, Lea, and Sydney would be going on this group date. During it, they were taken to do a talent show pageant with a full, LIVE audience and everything. 4 women from the recent Golden Bachelor season April, Susan, Kathy and Nancy showed up to assist with judging the talent show. After it was all said and done, Lexi won it.

Joey told the private cams that he picked Lexi to be the talent show winner because she surprised him the most. During the afterparty, Joey talked 1 on 1 with Lexi. Joey told her, “I thought you really stepped outside your comfort zone during the talent show, and I wanted you to be rewarded for that,” and they kissed. Joey talked with Kelsey A. He told her, “I’m so excited about you, and this feels so right.” Kelsey said, “I agree,” and they kissed.

Joey talked with Edwina. He told her, “You were unbelievable at the talent show, ” and they hugged. Joey talked with Allison. They had fun. Joey talked with Maria. She told him that by giving Lexi the win, he made it into a kissing comp. He told her, “It was not just about the talent. I do want to know more about you.” Maria said, “Me too.”

Joey talked with Madina. He tried to ask her if anyone made her feel uncomfortable. She didn’t want to say anything, but he did get her to say a few things about the whole age comment fiasco that went down in the last episode. She said she felt bullied at one point, but she refused to mention any names though. Joey ended up giving Kelsey the group date rose.

Joey told the women that it has come to his attention that some bullying has taken place, and he would like that to stop. After he left, Madina admitted to the other women that she told Joey she thought she was bullied by Maria in the last episode when she was trying to talk about the age comment drama. Maria apologized for making Madina feel that way, but Sydney accused Maria of talking crap about Madina. So, Maria and Sydney got into another argument until Sydney decided to walk off.

Maria and Madina talked and agreed to get along, but Maria still had a problem with Sydney constantly attacking her character.

After all of that, we got footage of Jenn and Joey’s 1 on 1 date. Joey took her to go surfing. They appeared to have a really great time as they talked, surfed and laughed.

During the second half of their date, Jenn told Joey about her childhood. Apparently, her parents used to argue a lot. She said she felt unwanted and not truly loved. Her dad is no longer a apart of her life. Joey told her,”I’m sorry you had to go through that.” Jenn told him, “I can see what a good and genuine person you are, and this is something I ‘m ready for now,” and they kissed. Joey gave her a rose, and they kissed again.

Next, we got the second group date footage. It featured: Evalin, Kelsey T, Starr, Rachel, Jess, Katelyn, Autumn and Daisy. Joey took them on a tennis date. Former pro tennis stars James Blake and Pam Shriver showed up to help the girls learn how to play tennis. Then, the ladies played in something called The Bachelor Open. It was a doubles tennis tournament. All the women were split up into 4 teams of two for it, and they had to wear weird costumes. Evalin and Kelsey T ended up winning the tournament.

At the afterparty, Joey talked 1 on 1 with Katelyn. She talked about her family. Joey told the private cams that he loved their conversation.

Joey talked with Rachel. She told Joey that he reminds her of her dad a little bit, and they kissed. Joey talked with Kelsey T, and they kissed at one point. Joey told the private cams, “I can tell there’s something there with Kelsey.” Joey talked with Daisy. She showed him her hearing aid implant. Joey told her she’s special, and they kissed. At the end, Joey gave Katelyn the group date rose.

Next, host Jesse Palmer showed up again to tell the women that there will be no cocktail party, but a pool party instead with some KFC chicken to boot. During it, Joey talked with Kelsey T. He talked with Kelsey A, and they kissed . Sydney told the private cams that she’s going to tell Joey that Maria is being a mean girl. So, she did. She lied to Joey be telling him that Maria attacked Madina and her at the group date. She said Maria called her embarrassing and dumb, which was another lie.

So, Joey pulled Maria aside to talk about Sydney’s claims. Maria, of course, denied the false claims made by Sydney, and she told him, “Sydney called me a bully, and I don’t understand why. I will say this. If you like Sydney, you can’t like me because we are two totally different people.” Joey did agree with that, and he told the private cams, “How Maria was talking to me felt more real than how Sydney was talking to me.”

After all of that, we got the rose ceremony footage. During it, Joey gave: Lexi, Lea, Kelsey T., Rachel, Madina, Daisy, Jess, Edwina, Autumn, Allison, Maria, and Sydney a rose to join Jenn, Katelyn and Kelsey A who received roses earlier on in this episode. That ,unfortunately, means that poor: Evalin, Chrissa and Starr did not receive a rose and had to make their exits.
