New 60 Minutes February 11, 2024 Episode Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “60 Minutes” fans. Unfortunately, we’re back on here with some bad news to give you. Due to another major TV obligation, the CBS people are not airing a new episode of 60 Minutes tonight, February 11, 2024. That’s right, guys. You are going to have to wait an extra week to see the next, new episode of 60 Minutes.
We got confirmation from the folks over at TV guide that there should be a new episode of 60 Minutes hitting the air next Sunday night, February 18, 2024 in its usual, 6 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to memorize that very important date and time if you can.
In the meantime, we’re going to tell you exactly why CBS isn’t airing a new episode of 60 Minutes tonight. It’s because they are fulfilling their very important obligation to provide LIVE coverage for the 2024 NFL Super Bowl football game. It’s one of the biggest events of the year. So, 60 Minutes definitely does have to take a back seat tonight.
CBS’ official description for their LIVE coverage of the 2024 Super Bowl NFL football game reads like this, “Super Bowl LVIII. San Francisco 49ers vs. Kansas City Chiefs LIVE. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs attempt to defend their title as they take on the 49ers in Super Bowl 58 from Las Vegas. Mahomes led Kansas City to a 31-20 win over San Francisco in Super Bowl 54 for the Chiefs’ first championship since 1969.”
If any of you guys are also NFL football fans, you might still want to hit up CBS tonight to catch this major, NFL football, Super Bowl event. If you are not a NFL football fan and only want to see new episodes of 60 Minutes, you will certainly want to avoid CBS tonight from the hours of 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm central standard time, and check back next Sunday night, February 18, 2024.
