New SWAT Season 7, February 16, 2024 Premiere Episode 1 Spoilers Revealed
Hey, “S.W.A.T.” fans. Welcome to the brand new season 7. That’s right, guys. After months and months of delays due to the writers and actors strikes of 2023, CBS is going to finally be able to debut the new, premiere episode 1 of SWAT’s new season 7 tonight, February 16, 2024, and we’ve got some new spoiler scoops for it.
We were to track down an official teaser description for one of episode 1’s main storylines via CBS and their official episode 1 press release synopsis. So, that is what we’ll be a taking a look at for this spoiler session. Let’s get to it.
First thing’s first. We have an official title for this new episode 1 of SWAT season 7. It’s called, “The Promise.” It sounds like episode 1 will feature some very intense, dramatic, action-filled, suspenseful and interesting scenes.
In the new episode 1, a dangerous rescue mission will be the main focus of this storyline that CBS chose to give up. Yep, it turns out that the SWAT team will be smack dab in the middle of trying to escort a fugitive back to the States. However, this mission will totally fall apart when Hondo has to rescue an old witness that has ties to this case.
CBS’ official description for this new episode 1 of SWAT season 7 reads like this, “The team heads to Mexico to escort a fugitive back to the States when things go awry and Hondo has to save an old witness tied to the case in the season seven premiere of S.W.A.T.” Episode 1 was written by Kent Rotherham, and it was directed by Billy Gierhart.
CBS’ press release confirmed that the new, premiere episode 1 of SWAT’s current season 7 is indeed scheduled to finally hit your TV screens tonight, February 16, 2024, starting at approximately 7 pm central standard time. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs).
