The Bachelor March 4, 2024 Eliminated Maria Georgas (Recap)

Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, March 4, 2024, another new episode of The Bachelor 2024 edition with headliner Joey Graziadei did hit the air, and we saw another unlucky lady get sent home at the end of it.

Tonight’s new episode was the hometowns episode, and it kicked off with Joey visiting Kelsey A in her hometown of New Orleans. She greeted him with a huge hug. They went bike riding on a tandem bike. Then, they talked for a bit. She expressed her fears of heartbreak. Joey empathized with her, and they kissed.

They talked some more at a restaurant. She talked about how much she misses her mother who passed away. She told him, “You make me feel amazing,” and they kissed again. She told the private cams, “My mom would totally approve of Joey.”

Kelsey’s family greeted Joey with smiles on their faces. Joey and Kelsey talked about their journey with them. Kelsey talked with her sister and talked about her fears of not possibly being farther along with Joey than the other girls, but she’s glad she put herself out there.

Joey talked with Kelsey’s father Mark. Mark expressed his concerns. Joey told him, “You would be so proud the way Kelsey has handled this process. My feelings for Kelsey are real.”

Kelsey talked with Mark. Mark told her, “Joey’s feelings towards you are very reassuring.” Kelsey said, “I think I love Joey. He’s great.” Mark told the private cams, “It was wonderful to see Kelsey and the connection they have. I hope she does get engaged.”

Joey and Kelsey talked again to wrap up their date. Kelsey told Joey, “Things just feel so right with you. It was a great day,” and they kissed. Joey told the private cams, “I really feel good with where me and Kelsey are at.”

Next, Joey met Rachel in her hometown of Rancho Cucamonga, California. She explained to him some greetings to use around her family. Joey greeted her family with flowers. Rachel’s mother Noela really liked his greeting. She said it meant a lot to her.

Rachel talked with her father Hakim. She told him how great she thinks Joey is. He told her, “If things don’t go the way you want, don’t get too high or too low, and you’ll always have us.”

Joey talked with Noela. He told her, “I care for your daughter. I don’t take this lightly. I feel your hesitancy, and I understand it, I really do.” She said, “My concern is the three other women.” Joey said, “I wish I could promise more, but I do know I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t really care about Rachel.” Noela told the private cams, “Joey seems like a very nice man, but the verdict is still out with the 3 other women still in the picture.”

Rachel talked with Noela. Noela said, “Joey seems like a nice guy, but I’m still very cautious. Just guard your heart. I don’t want your heart to be broken.”

Joey talked with Hakim. Joey told him, “I want to know if I have your blessing to marry Rachel at the end of this?” Joey told the private cams, “It wasn’t a yes or a no from Hakim.” Rachel talked with her sister Amanda. Amanda told her, “We’re your biggest support system,” and they hugged.

Joey talked again with Rachel to wrap up this date. Rachel told Joey, “I am falling in love with you.” Joey said, “I’m so glad to hear that. You’re so amazing,” and they kissed. Joey told the private cams, “I’ve been waiting weeks for that.”

Next, Joey greeted Daisy with a huge hug in her hometown of Becker, Minn. She took him to the areas she grew up hanging out at. At one point, he met her friends. Daisy told the private cams, “Joey is definitely someone I want to be with, but I need may parents to see that too.” Daisy told Joey, “I’m really thankful for you.” Joey echoed that statement, and they kissed. Daisy told the private cams, “If my family doesn’t see a future with me and Joey, it would be hard for me to move forward, honestly.”

Joey met Daisy’s family, which consisted of: Daisy’s mother Julie. Her father Brandon. Her older sister Josephine. Her younger brother Harrison. Her grandfather Ted, and her grandmother Gloria.

They started off by talking about their journey with them. Then, Joey talked with Daisy’s mother Julie. Joey told her, “I’m hopeful with where things can go. It’s very scary though. Daisy hasn’t fully expressed everything she’s feeling because she wants to see how I interact with her family.”

Daisy talked with Julie. She told Daisy, “Joey seems so to be sweet and a nice guy.” Daisy talked with her father Brandon. She told him, “I think I’m falling in love with Joey.” He told her, “You’re going to have to open up and take the risk.”

Joey and Daisy talked again to wrap up their date. Joey told her, “I had a really good time. Your family is amazing.” She told him, “I am falling in love with you. I mean that with my whole heart. Regardless of what happens, I’m going to go for it whole heartedly.” Joey said, “I feel the same way,” and they kissed. Joey told the private cams, “It was so good to see Daisy. I can see Daisy being my wife. It’s exciting.”

Next, Joey went to see Maria in Niagara Falls, N.Y. We’re not sure why they weren’t in Canada, but whatever. They greeted each other with a big hug. She took him on a boat ride. Then, they talked about her almost walking off the show in the last episode. She told him, “I totally regretted that, and I want you to know I won’t ever do that again. I want to bring you to my family. They mean everything to me. I’ve never brought anyone home before. I don’t just bring anyone home.”

Joey met Maria’s family, which consisted of Maria’s father Nick. Her mother Lori. Her brothers Steven and Soto, and her friend Brittany.

Maria told her friend Brittany, “I can truly see myself falling for Joey.” Joey talked with Maria’s father Nick. Nick told Joey, “If you’re telling Maria the same thing you’re telling the other three women, it doesn’t mean anything.” Joey told him, “I want you to know that this does mean a lot to me. When Maria opens up, she’s great. I want your blessing to marry her at the end of this.” Nick said, “I would have no problem giving you my blessing if you two choose each other in the end.”

Nick talked with Maria and told her, “I’ve never seen you this way. You seem like you are really falling for Joey. Are you really this happy? I just want you to be happy. I know you’re trying to protect yourself, but let your guard down a little bit with him. He seems like a good, down-to-Earth guy.”

Nick told the private cams, “It looks like Maria and Joey have a meaningful thing going on. I want this for her.” Joey and Maria talked again to wrap up this date. Joey told her, “I love your family.” Maria told Joey, “I’m happy my family accepted you.” She didn’t ever tell him how she really feels, and she told the private cams, “I feel like I really regret that.”

Before the rose ceremony began, Maria pulled Joey aside for a talk. She told him, “I didn’t want any regrets. I wanted to tell you that I am falling in love with you, and no matter what happens, I would regret not telling you that.” Then, Joey handed out roses to: Daisy, Kelsey A and Rachel.

So, unfortunately, that means poor Maria did not get a rose and was eliminated. Joey walked her out and told here, “This was really difficult for me. We’ve had a bumpy road. I fought for you everytime. I was trying my best to get there with you, but I had too many doubts.”

Maria said, “I know. It’s fine.” Maria told the private cams, “I’m confused. I showed Joey all of me and that I’m falling in love with him. What more can I give to him? I should’ve told him a lot sooner than I did, and that’s my biggest regret.”
