New American Idol April 21 & 22, 2024 Episodes Preview Revealed
Hey, “American Idol” fans. We’re back at you again to tell what will be going down on American Idol this week. The ABC folks are dishing up another two, new, LIVE episodes that will air on back-to-back nights, April 21, 2024 and April 22, 2024. These new episodes are episodes 12 and 13 of this current season 22.
ABC put out an official press release for these new episode 12 and 13. So, we will certainly take a look at them for this preview session. Let’s get to it, starting with episode 12.
Tonight’s new episode 12 does have an official title. It’s called, “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.” In this one, you’re going to see legendary rock & roll legend and co-lead singer for KISS rock band Gene Simmons show up to mentor the remaining 14 contestants.
Also, the contestants will only sing songs that are from legendary Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductees. Additionally, at some point, the inductees for the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame will get announced. And , of course, America will place their LIVE votes to reveal which lucky contestants get to make into the top 12.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s new episode 12 reads like this, “With guidance from guest mentor Gene Simmons, the top 14 take on songs from legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees as America votes live for the top 12. The 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees are announced.”
Tomorrow night’s new, April 22, 2024 episode 13 is officially titled, “Billboard #1 Hits.” In the new episode 13, you guys are going to see the top 12 perform for a spot in the top 10. 30 year old American singer/songwriter and television personality Meghan Trainor will show up to mentor the contestants who will only perform songs that were hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. These performances will be LIVE once again. After they’re done, America will cast their LIVE votes to reveal who made it into the top 10.
ABC’s official description for tomorrow night’s new episode 13 reads like this, “Guest mentor Meghan Trainor. The top 12 perform their favorite Billboard hits live from Hollywood. Two Idol journeys come to an end as the top 10 is solidified.”
ABC’s press release confirmed that American Idol will be brand new and LIVE again tonight, April 21, 2024 and tomorrow night, April 22, 2024. Both of these episodes will start up at approximately 7 pm central standard time and last for 2 hours. So, expect them to wrap up at 9 pm central standard time.
