New American Idol May 5, 2024 Top 7 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “American Idol” fans. We’re back in your faces with another new American Idol preview session. In this one, we’re going to talk about what you can expect to see in the next, new episode 16 of this current season 22, which is scheduled to make its debut tonight, May 5, 2024.
We were able to get a hold of an official press release for tonight’s new episode 16 straight from ABC. So, we will definitely take a look at it for this preview session. Let’s do it.
First thing’s first. ABC is letting us know that the theme for tonight’s new episode 16 is “Adele Night.” That means you guys will see the top 7 remaining contestants only sing songs from one of the bestselling artists Adele. Also, 38 year old American singer, songwriter, businesswoman, dancer, model and actress Ciara is going to show up to mentor the contestants.
30 year old American singer-songwriter and television personality Meghan Trainor will make a return appearance to perform one of her newest songs. After all the performances are wrapped up, America will get to cast their LIVE votes for their favorite singer. Then, only the top 5 vote-getters will advance through to next week, leaving 2 more eliminated contestants.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s new episode 16 of American Idol season 22 reads like this,”American Idol (Adele Night). The top seven finalists take on iconic hits from bestselling artist Adele, as America votes live for the top five. Meghan Trainor returns to perform her new single. Ciara guest mentors.”
ABC’s press release confirmed that American Idol will show up again with a brand new episode tonight, May 5, 2024, starting at approximately 7 pm central standard time. It will be a 2-hour event. So, expect it to wrap up at 9 pm central standard time.
