New Big Brother 2024 Season 26 Premiere Date Revealed. It’s Arriving Sooner This Time

Hey, “Big Brother” fans. We’re back with some excellent news for you guys in this brand new article. Earlier this month, it was revealed that CBS finally dropped an official premiere date for the new, upcoming season 26 of Big Brother. While it’s still showing up a bit later than what we’re used to, it will at least arrive sooner than last season did.

CBS has the new season 26 scheduled to debut on July 17, 2024. If you’ll recall, last year, CBS didn’t premiere season 25 until August 2, 2023 due to the crazy Hollywood strikes that were going on. This year, things are a little bit better on that front. So, season 26 got a bump up with its premiere date. Thank God.

According to the folks over at Deadline.com, season 26 is going to arrive with a two-night premiere. So, on Wednesday night, July 17, 2024, season 26 will take up the 8 pm central standard time slot.

Then, on Thursday night, July 18, 2024, you’ll get another new episode, starting in the same time slot. Both of these episodes will just be an hour long. After the premiere episodes debut, Big Brother will air on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursday nights

Longtime host Julie Chen will indeed return to host this new season 26. According to
Big Brother Network , the production team for Big Brother recently closed their season 26 open casting calls window because they already have all the potential castmembers they need. That happened back on May 23, 2024.

Jesse Tannenbaum who is the returning Casting Director for Big Brother is the one who made the closed cast call announcement on his official Twitter account.

Again, Big Brother season 26 is officially arriving on Wednesday night, July 17, 2024, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time. Part 2 of the premiere will air on Thursday night, July 18, 2024 in the 8 pm central standard time slot. They will both be 1-hour events.
