The Bachelorette July 15, 2024 Eliminated Brian, Marvin & Jahaan (Recap)
Hey Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, July 15, 2024, another new episode of The Bachelorette 2024 edition with headliner Jenn Tran did indeed hit the air, and we saw another couple of guys get sent packing at the end of it.
Tonight’s new episode kicked off with footage of Jenn and her remaining guys hitting up the land down under Melbourne, Australia to continue their journey of love. From there, Jenn took: Sam N., Marvin, Brian, Jonathan, Aaron Erb, Grant, Jeremy, and Devin out on a group date. During it, they went and got some weird Australian food along with some drinks.
At one point, Devin pulled Jenn away from the group to get some 1 on 1 time. Aaron told the private cams that he didn’t think that was cool since this was a group date. Later on, Jenn and the guys went to see a comedy show. Australian comedian Bec Charlwood hosted it, and she told the men that they had to perform a stand-up comedy routine. A lot of the guys roasted Devin during it..
At the afterparty, Jenn talked 1 on 1 with Jonathan. They talked about their childhood. Jenn talked with Grant. They talked about what shaped her into the woman she is now. He told her how much he wants a family. Jenn told the private cams that she really liked what Grant had to say, and they kissed.
At one point, Aaron was seen telling Devin, “I think you’re boy and not ready for Jenn. I doubt your intentions. I think you’re wasting her time.” Devin, of course, disagreed and eventually walked off.
Jenn talked with Aaron. She told him, “I think you’re mature.” Then, Devin interrupted Jenn and Aaron with ice cream. Aaron tried to tell him this was a problem, but Devin wouldn’t leave saying, “The ice cream’s about to melt.” So, Aaron left. Jenn told Devin,”I don’t think you’re arrogant. I think you’re having fun and enjoying yourself. I love that about you.”
Aaron came back and interrupted Devin and Jenn to get his time back with Jenn. Then, Devin eventually came back again to interrupt Aaron and Jenn for second time. Jenn told Devin, “I want you guys to get along.” Devin told Jenn, “I like you, and I want to kiss you.” Jenn said, “I think you should.” So, they kissed. After this group date wrapped up, Jenn ended up giving Grant the group date rose.
Next, we saw Jenn take Marcus out on 1 on 1 date. She took him on a skydiving trip. They jumped out of the plane separately with experts. Then, they kissed after they landed safely. Marcus told Jenn he’s a afraid of opening up. She told him, “I’ll help you through your fear since you helped me through my fear of skydiving.”
During the second half of their date, Marcus and Jenn talked. Marcus talked about his time as an Army ranger and how he almost lost his life from a grenade and his recovery process. He said, “I want to live a life that was worth saving.” Jenn said,”I think you’re a hero, and that’s exactly what I’m looking for. I’m even more grateful to know you.” Marcus said, “Thank you,” and they hugged. She gave him a rose, and they kissed.
Jenn told the private cams, “It was really inspiring to hear Marcus’ story. I can see us falling in love with each other. I feel like this is the start of something good.”
Next, Jenn went on a second group date. During it, she took: Spencer, Sam M., Tomas A., Hakeem, Thomas N., Austin, John, Jahaar, and Dylan to go do a photo shoot with different wildlife creatures.
Afterwards, Jenn picked Dylan to continue the date with her. The rest of the guys had to go home. Jenn and Dylan talked. Jenn told him, “I’m looking for a true partnership. Someone who loves hard.” Dylan agreed, and he told her about the love his parents share. He told the private cams, “I think Jenn and I share the same values.”
Jenn told the private cams, “I see a lot of myself in Dylan. I think we laid some really good groundwork that I’m really excited about.” Jenn gave him a rose, and they kissed. Dylan told the private cams, “This was truly a great experience, and I can’t wait to kiss Jenn again.”
Aaron told Devin, “I think you’re a bully,” and he gave Devin an emotional intelligence book saying, “I think it will help you grow as a person.” Devin told the private cams, “Aaron is very passive aggressive, and I don’t need some book to show me how to be a man.”
During the cocktail party, Jenn talked with Devin. He told her, “Chaos may follow me because I stand out and don’t let what other people think affect what I decide to do.” Jenn said, “That’s what I like about you. You’re not afraid to be yourself.”
Some of the guys were mad about Devin pulling Jenn to talk first at the cocktail party. They claim he told them he would let them get their time With Jenn.
Thomas N interrupted Devin and Jenn to yell at Devin about stealing time with Jenn. Jenn told Thomas N, “You didn’t really need to waste 10 minutes talking with Devin about him pulling me aside first.”
Sam M pulled up on Thomas N and Jenn to get his time with Jenn. Sam M told Jenn, “I trust this process and your judgement.” Jenn said, “You make me a little flustered,” and they kissed. Jenn talked with Jonathan. They kissed. Jenn told the private cams, “I really like Jonathan. We have the same outlook on life.” Jenn talked with Spencer, and they kissed. Jenn told the private cams, “Spencer makes me feel fun and flirty.”
Devin went out to confront Thomas N. Thomas didn’t want to talk with Devin. So, he ran back inside to get away from him. Thomas told the private cams, “Devin is full of sh*^t and not a man.” Meanwhile, Devin kept telling Thomas N, “You made yourself look like an idiot.”
Finally, we got the rose ceremony footage. During it, Jenn gave: Austin, Hakeem, Spencer, Jeremy, Jonathon, John, Tomas A., Sam M., Devin, Sam N., Aaron Erb and Thomas N a rose to join Marcus, Dylan, and Grant who received roses earlier in this episode. That means poor Brian, Marvin, and Jahaan did not get a rose and were eliminated.
