Big Brother August 15, 2024 Evicted Cedric Hodges In LIVE Eviction Episode (Recap)
Hey, “Big Brother” fans. Tonight, August 15, 2024, another new, LIVE eviction episode for Big Brother’s current season 26 hit the air, and we saw another unlucky houseguest make their exit at the end of it.
Tonight’s new, LIVE eviction episode kicked off with footage of what happened in the house after the last POV Ceremony, which featured Tucker using his veto to save himself from the eviction chopping block, and Quinn using his deep Fake HOH power to nominate Rubina as a replacement nominee.
Tucker told the Diary Room aka private cams, “I’m confident Rubina will have the numbers to stay if she doesn’t win the BB AI Arena competition.” Quinn told the private cams, “I put Rubina up as a replacement nominee to send a message to Tucker.”
Makensy told the private cams, “I’m nervous about where the votes will go if I don’t win the BB AI Arena comp.” Quinn told Kimo and T’Kor he doesn’t feel comfortable flipping on the collective as long as Tucker is still in the house. Kimo told the private cams, “It might be a good thing to flip on Cedric right now.”
Rubina told the private cams, “I think I have the numbers/votes to stay this week.” Kimo told the private cams, “I think Rubina is best for my long term game.” Brooklyn told Kimo, “We can’t lose Cedric right now.” Leah told the private cams, “Keeping Rubina in the house is better for me.” Kimo told the private cams, “We might actually have the numbers to keep Rubina over a Cedric situation.”
Makensy told Kimo she would like to keep Rubina as well. T’Kor told the private cams, “I really want to keep Rubina here, but I’m confused as to what to do right now.”
After all of that, the three eviction nominees: Makensy, Cedric and Rubina competed in the BB AI Arena competition. It was titled, “Upload, Download.” It was a physical competition that involved them rolling sphere balls up and down a ramp, and Makensy won it to claim her safety this week.
So, Cedric and Rubina became the final two nominees for this week. They were given a few minutes to campaign for votes. This time, they actually did use that time to campaign. After their campaigning time was up, they gave their final plea speeches. Then, the rest of the houseguests minus current HOH Angela and deep fake HOH Quinn cast their votes to evict.
Tucker, Makensy, Leah, Kimo, T’Kor and Joseph all voted to evict Cedric. Chelsie, Brooklyn and Cam voted to evict Rubina. So, by a vote of 6-3, Cedric was evicted from Big Brother season 26 house tonight.
After that, host Julie Chen-Moonves chimed in to explain a new twist called, “AI Instigator.” America will get the chance to vote for one houseguest to secretly instigate chaos in the house, and they’ll get rewards for it.
After the new twist was explained, Cedric gave his exit interview with host Julie Chen-Moonves. Cedric told Julie, “I knew T’kor and Kimo would turn on me because they were too close with Rubina. I volunteered to be a pawn because I wanted to see if I could trust working with T’Kor and Kimo moving forward.” So, yeah, that was definitely not a good reason to volunteer to be a pawn. How do you guys feel about Cedric getting evicted tonight? Let us know in the comments section.
Later on tonight, the new HOH (Head Of Household) competition will take place. So, we’ll be reporting the results for that event when they become available. Be on the lookout for it.
