Big Brother August 2, 2023 Nominated 4 People For Eviction In Premiere (Recap)

Hey, “Big Brother” fans. Tonight, August 2, 2023, the new, premiere episode 1 of Big Brother’s new season 25 finally hit the air, and 4 people ended up getting nominated by the end of it due to a crazy new twist.

Tonight’s new, premiere episode kicked off with an introduction to the 16, new houseguests. They revealed the first 8 houseguests, which are: Blue Kim, Red Utley, Jared Fields, Mecole Hayes, Matt Klotz, Izzy Gleicher, Jag Bains and Reilly Smedley. Then, they revealed the second batch of 8 houseguests which are: Luke Valentine, Felicia Cannon, Hisam Goueli, Cory Wurtenberger, Bowie Jane, America Lopez, Cameron Hardin and Kirsten Elwin.

After all the intro work was completed, host Julie Chen-Moonves told the houseguests that this season is going to be a whopping 100 days long. Then, she told them about a crazy new twist that this season will feature because a pretend break-in occurred, which featured former houseguests: Danielle Reyes, Brittany Haynes and Frankie Grande.

The producers had them act out an imaginary story about them breaking into the house and activating a time laser so they could travel back in time and win the seasons they lost. However, when they activated it, something went wrong and they created a Big Brother multiverse instead.

This imaginary multiverse features 4 multiverses that will make this season super unpredictable. These 4 multiverses are named: Comic-verse, Humili-verse, Scary-verse and Scramble-verse. Julie said, “These multiverses will twist up the game.”

Next, the houseguests entered the Big Brother house in groups of four. The first four to enter were: Felicia, Red, America, and Matt. The second group featured: Cory, Blue, Jared and Izzy. The 3rd group featured: Kirsten, Luke, Bowie Jane and Jag. The 4th group featured: Hisam, Cameron, Mecole and Reilly.

They all went to the backyard to compete in their first competitions of this season. Julie told them that since the game is now scrambled by the imaginary multiverse twist, they were going to be competing for safety from the block instead of the traditional HOH (Head Of Household) competition.

Four groups of houseguests competed in a separate competition. The person who finished last or lost the competition for their group was nominated for eviction.

The Scramble-verse competition was first, and it featured: Bowie, Jared, America and Mecole. The comp was titled, “Puzzling Headlines.” It required them to assemble a puzzle. Jared finished last, so he was nominated for eviction from that group.

The Humili-verse comp was next. It featured: Mercy, Matt, Hisam and Blue. This comp was titled, “Kicking Butt.” It was a physical comp that required them to move a lever back and forth, which caused a boot to kick them in the butt a 100 times.

The last person to get to 100 times, lost. The losing person turned out to be Kirsten. So, she was nominated for eviction. Be sure to follow us on our official Big Brother Twitter page for the latest Big Brother news and updates by Clicking Here.

The 3rd comp was for the Comic-verse. It was titled, ” Goo-Pocalypse.” It featured: Jag, Izzy, Cameron and Felicia. They had to correctly connect wires to a goo bomb until it detonated and released a bunch of slime. Felicia was the last one to do it, so she was nominated.

The last competition was for the Scary-verse. It featured: Reilly, Luke, Cory and Red. Their comp was titled, “Hold On Fright.” In this one, they just had to hold on for dear life while giant hands tried to pull them into what they called the nether region. Whoever got pulled in there first, got nominated for eviction and disappeared from the game for an unspecified amount of time. That unlucky person turned out to be Cory.

So, Cory, Felicia, Kirsten and Jared are on the eviction chopping block right now. They will have a chance to still compete for the POV (Power Of Veto) this week. Julie confirmed that this crazy twist didn’t get rid of the POV comp. Thank God.

Julie did reveal one more twist before tonight’s show wrapped up. Apparently, there’s a 17th houseguest that’s in the house. It’s Survivor legend Cirie Fields. She also just happens to be Jared’s mother. So, that’s really interesting.

The next, new Big Brother episode is scheduled to air this Sunday night, August 6, 2023, starting at approximately 7 pm central standard time on CBS, but we’ll be back with more spoilers and updates before then.
