Pokemon Go’s Next Legendary To Catch For February 2019 Has Been Revealed
Happy Monday, Pokemon Go fans. We hope you guys had a fantastic weekend. We’ve got some pretty interesting new intel to share with you guys in this article. According to the folks over at Polygon.com ,Pokemon’s developer Niantic has revealed what the next Legendary to catch will be for the entire month of February 2019!
It turns out that the next Legendary will be Palkia. That’s right, guys. The fourth-generation monster Palkia is scheduled to start appearing in Raid Battles tomorrow, January 29, 2019! He will also being showing up throughout the entire month of February 2019.
Palkia is scheduled to start appearing at approximately 1 pm pacific standard time tomorrow, January 29th. Palkia’s final day is scheduled to land on Thursday,February 28, 2019 at approximately 1 pm pacific standard time. So, be sure to mark those important dates down on your Pokemon Go calendars.
Polygon.com pointed out that Palkia is from Pokemon Pearl and is the latest legendary to debut on Pokemon Go. They also said that Palkia can manipulate spatial dimensions, but they aren’t sure if those abilities will play out in the Pokemon Go world.
According to Palkia’ Wikia page, Palkia is “an upcoming Water, Dragon-type Legendary Pokémon from the Sinnoh region. It doesn’t evolve into or from any other Pokémon. Along with Dialga and Giratina, it is a member of Creation Trio.” Palkia has the ability to distort space. It is described as a deity in Sinnoh-region mythology.

Additionally, we previously reported that Pokemon’s next Community Day is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at approximately 11 am to 2 pm Pacific Standard Time in the United States. So, be sure to mark down that very important date.
During the February 16, 2019 Community Day event, Swinub will reportedly spawn much more frequently in the wild than it normally does. Based on previous Community Days, players will presumably have a chance of encountering a Shiny Swinub during this new community day event.
Players that encounter any Swinub that evolves into its final form Mamoswine up to an hour after the Community Day ends, will learn a special move. However, Pokemon Go’s developer Niantic has not yet confirmed what the special move will be.
In order to obtain Mamoswine, players will need to have a Sinnoh Stone. One of the ways to get a Sinnoh stone is by participating in trainer battles.
Niantic has stated that players will get a chance to earn up to five Sinnoh Stones by battling other players. Players will also receive five rewards per day from Trainer Battles during the February 16, 2019 Community Day weekend.
