New ‘Lovecraft Country’ Spoilers For Season 1, September 6, 2020 Episode 4 Revealed
Hey, “Lovecraft Country” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed episode 3 tonight. Now that it’s all wrapped up and in the history books, it’s time to take a look at what the next, new episode 4 of Lovecraft Country has in store.
We were able to get a couple of new spoiler scoops for episode 4 from HBO’s official, episode 4 press release. So, let’s just go ahead and dive right into those right now.
For starters, there is an official title for episode 4. It’s called, “A History of Violence.” It sounds like episode 4 will feature some pretty intense, dramatic, adventurous and possible action-filled scenes as Leti confronts Atticus! Leti, Tic and Montrose take a road trip to Boston. Ruby gets comfort from a nice-looking stranger and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Leti and Atticus situation. At some point, we’re going to see Christina mysteriously arrive at Let’s doorstep. After that, Leti will pull Atticus to the side to confront the hell out of him in regards to his plan to return to Florida.
HBO’s official description for this Leti, Atticus and Christina plotline reads like this,”After Christina mysteriously shows up at her doorstep, Leti confronts Atticus about his plan to surreptitiously return to Florida.”
How will Atticus respond to this confrontation from Leti? That’s a very important question for this particular storyline. It certainly sounds like it could serve up some very intense and dramatic scenes. So, look out for it.
We’re also officially hearing that Atticus is going to unleash some pent up rage in episode 5, and it will cause Leti to be very disturbed. So, definitely expect to see a lot of intense, Leti and Atticus drama over the next two weeks.
The second spoiler scoop reveals that Leti, Tic and Montrose will be very busy with an intense search in this episode. Apparently, some pages from a very crucial text will be missing. So, Leti, Tic and Montrose will take a road trip to Boston to try and locate these missing pages. They will also bring along Diana and Hippolyta.
HBO’s description for this Leti, Tic, Montrose, Hippolyta and Diana storyline reads like this,”In search of missing pages to a crucial text, Leti, Tic, and Montrose head to Boston with Hippolyta and Diana (Jada Harris) along for the ride.”
Will Leti, Tic, Montrose, Hippolyta and Diana find this missing text they are seeking? That’s a big question for this particular plotline. Only time will tell for now, but it does seem like we could see some possible interesting scenes play out for this storyline.
The 3rd and last teaser description lets us know that Ruby will have some pretty interesting things going on back in Chicago. Apparently, Ruby will be quite upset over a lost job opportunity. So, a good-looking stranger will roll through to give her some sort of comfort.
HBO’s description for this Ruby storyline reads like this, “Back in Chicago, a handsome stranger nurses Ruby’s disappointment over a squandered job opportunity.”
Who is this handsome stranger? Will Ruby have more interactions with this person moving forward? Those are some big questions for this particular plotline.
Some other things we’re hearing about Ruby is that she will make a devil’s bargain with William in episode 5 to step into the shoes of a white woman. So, that sounds like it could be quite interesting. Be sure to look out for that plotline in two more weeks.

The teleplay for episode 4 was done by Misha Green. The Story was by Wes Taylor, and Victoria Mahoney directed it.
HBO’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 4 of Lovecraft Country’s premiere season 1 is indeed scheduled to air next Sunday night, September 6, 2020 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
