New ’21 And Over’ Movie Served Up Tons Of Laughs,Crazy Drama & More
New ’21 And Over’ movie served up tons of laughs, crazy drama & more. Relativity Media released their new comedy flick “21 And Over” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and thought it was extremely funny and entertaining ,serving up hysterical and wild scenes throughout. It stars: Miles Teller, Justin Chon, Skylar Astin, Sarah Wright, François Chau, Jonathan Keltz, Daniel Booko, and Dustin Ybarra.
In the new flick , character Miller (Miles teller) comes to visit his old high school buddy Casey (Skylar Astin) ,and basically all Miller wants to do,is party to the absolute break of dawn. From there, they proceed to go see their other friend, Jeff Chang, as he’s about to turn 21. Miller wants to take him out to get utterly wasted, but resistance is high as Jeff has been feeling a lot of heat and pressure from his father to land a new doctor gig he has lined up for him,and his big interview is the next morning.
However, Jeff eventually gives in after Miller threatens to blow a bull-horn in his ear the entire night if he doesn’t come along for the party ride. After that, we can see the wild, very complicated plotline start to form. Surely enough, Jeff becomes a wild man, almost unrecognizable, knocking back every alcoholic beverage in sight.
As the night continues, Jeff eventually becomes so wasted that he can’t even stand up anymore. At this point, Miller and Casey realize, hey, maybe it is time to take Jeff home,so that he’ll be ready for his big interview that’s in like less than 8 hours. Unfortunately,it doesn’t turn out to be that simple ,because they don’t know the address to his place.
From there, Miller and Casey end up ,storming a couple of sorority houses and parties looking for anyone who might have the address to Jeff’s house, but know one ever knows it. However, they do find out that Jeff has done some really crazy things in the time they’ve been away from him, including attempted murder and suicide attempts. And before the night is done, Jeff ends up nude with his penis glued to a teddy bear, while dancing in the street, drunk.
Eventually, somehow, someway, Miller and Casey ,manage to overcome the greatest of adversities and get Jeff home in time to get showered and sobered up for his interview. However, the conclusion leaves us with a reformed Jeff who realizes he doesn’t really want to be a doctor and wants to tell his dad to basically go to hell.
Again, the movie was extremely entertaining and hilarious, throughout. Miles Teller aka Miller is a riot. However, I knew he would be,because he actually made that 2011 “Footloose” remake movie quite comical. The movie was sort of predictable as I’ve seen tons of similar plotlines, but the delivery was still enjoyable to watch. I gave it a solid B+ grade. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.
