New Hobbit 2,Desolation Of Smaug Movie Delivered Great Action,Drama & More
New Hobbit 2,Desolation Of Smaug movie delivered great action, drama & more. New Line Cinema (Warner Bros. Pictures) released their new action/adventure/fantasy flick, “The Hobbit 2: The Desolation Of Smaug” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out, and thought it was pretty damn good. It delivered a ton of amazing action scenes, coupled with lots of drama and suspense.
It stars: Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, Evangeline Lilly, John Bell, Jed Brophy, Adam Brown, John Callen, Benedict Cumberbatch, Luke Evans, Stephen Fry, Ryan Gage, Mark Hadlow, Peter Hambleton, Stephen Hunter, William Kircher, Sylvester McCoy, Graham McTavish, Michael Mizrahi, James Nesbitt, Dean O’Gorman, Lee Pace, Mikael Persbrandt, Ken Stott, and Aidan Turner.
In the new flick, Bilbo and the Dwarves continued their journey to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the great dragon ,Smaug. However, on their way there, they were captured by giant spiders at one point. Then once they found their way out of that mess, they were captured by Elves that really knew how to throw down like nobody’s business. However with the help of Bilbo and his magic ring, the Dwarves ,once again, managed to overcome that hefty obstacle to continue their journey.
Their next leg of the journey, had them meeting a man named Bard, who they and bribed to smuggle them into Esgaroth, where Thorin was eventually able to convince the townfolk and Master that they will share the riches of the recaptured mountain. From there, Bilbo attempted to retrieve the Arkenstone. However, he ran into great trouble as the great Smaug dragon, awakened to breathe mad fire at him after engaging in a long, drawn out, conversation.
This set up for a very thrilling, action-filled conclusion where Thorin and the rest of the Dwarves, joined Bilbo to set up a plan to destroy the Smaug dragon. I won’t give away the ending, but they obviously left it open for the 3rd planned installment. Again, I enjoyed watching this film for the most part. It did have some slow moments, here and there, but nothing to fuss about as the action scenes far outweighed that, especially in the end when the dwarves were trying to high-tail it from the Smaug dragon and his fiery flames.
I gave the movie a solid B+ grade. Stay tuned. Also, get your favorite Movie stuff, and more by Clicking Here.
