New ‘Footloose’ movie delivered good drama, dancing, humor & more. The new Paramount Pictures, remake, joint “Footloose” hit theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and I thought it was done really well. What was surprising,is all the laughter it brought, which can be mostly attributed to actor Miles Teller who played character Willard. New ‘Reel Steel’ movie delivered great drama, emotion, fighting action & more. DreamWorks Pictures released their new action/drama flick “Reel Steel” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and I though it was 100 percent better than I originally thought it would be. This movie is packed with a ton of emotion and drama to last a lifetime.

It was kind of like the Rocky movies, except with robots. But don’t get it twisted. It had it’s own little storyline to set it apart. The movie stars: Hugh Jackman, Evangeline Lilly, Dakota Goyo, Anthony Mackie, and Kevin Durand.

Even though this movie was very entertaining with the robot, fighting action,it was more about this fighting outlet bringing a father and is estranged son together to form a close bond that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. Read more »

New ‘Drive’ movie delivered odd scenes with ok thrills. FilmDistrict released their new Ryan Gosling branded action/drama/thriller flick “Drive” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and I thought it was ok overall. A lot of the scenes had a very odd undertone to them. I’m not really used to that. Even the thriller scenes were a bit odd,but were good enough to hold my attention. The movie stars: Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston, Ron Perlman, Christina Hendricks, Oscar Isaac, and Albert Brooks.

In the flick, character Driver (Ryan Gosling) is a stunt driver,a mechanic, and a “get away” driver for criminals. He also almost becomes a race car driver, but unfortunately, all the death and destruction sort of ruined that. Hey,it happens.

Anyways, as Driver lives his odd, loner life,he eventually befriends his next door, female neighbor Irene (Carey Mulligan) and her son until her husband named Standard (Oscar Isaac) returns home from prison. Eventually, Driver tries to help Standard get out of a bind with some very bad men he owes money to. Read more »
