A couple of days ago on 4-22-09, USA Today got a hold of the first official Twilight Saga “New Moon” poster or photo from the film. It features the four boys from the wolf pack which include : Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Bronson Pelletier. The fifth werewolf , Taylor Lautner who plays Jacob in the film, for some reason is not shown in the photo. Maybe they’ve reserved a solo poster for him. Who Knows ? I do know he is one of the main wolf packers,and will form a closer bond with Bella (Kristen Stewart) after her love, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) leaves town to go to Europe. A couple of days ago,March 23,2009 to be exact. Summit Entertainment announced that they’ve cast the “Wolf Pack” for the sequel to their hit film, “Twilight” entitled “New Moon” . The “wolf pack” cast will consists of Native American/First Nation actors: Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Tyson Houseman. Tyson Houseman was interestingly enough discovered in an open casting call where there were thousands of wanna be actors on hand fighting for their chance to be cast in the popular film. Summit wanted to stay true to the story book characters by making sure that the “wolf pack” were truly of Native American descent. The “Wolf Pack” are supposed to defend humans against vampires however, they have a tribal history intricately entwined with Edward Cullen and his family. Read the rest of this entry »
