‘Cop Out’ Movie Delivered Great Action & Good Comedy With Tracy Morgan
‘Cop Out’ movie delivered great action & good comedy with Tracy Morgan. Warner Bros. Pictures new action/comedy movie, “Cop Out” hit theaters this weekend. I just got done watching it,and despite what the critics said, It was entertaining. Tracy Morgan was funny in it,but I must agree with a little bit of what the critics said because some of Tracy’s punch lines didn’t punch all that great. Overall,it was good, though. The movie stars: Bruce Willis, Tracy Morgan, Adam Brody, Kevin Pollak, Guillermo Diaz, Seann William Scott, Jason Lee, and Ana de la Reguera.
“Cop Out” revolved around characters, Jimmy Monroe (Bruce Willis) and Paul Hodges (Tracy Morgan) who are long time police partners for the NYPD. Jimmy wants to pay for his daughter’s $48,000 wedding so he sets out to sale his rare baseball card with his always distracted partner, Paul. Jimmy unfortunately gets robbed, while in the card store, and from there, the action begins.
They both eventually hunt down the robber, only to find out that he sold the stolen baseball card to a deadly baseball card collecting drug dealer named Poh Boy,and the only way to get it back is by retrieving a car for Poh Boy. Jimmy and Paul eventually find out that the car ultimately possesses a very important disk drive that Poh Boy wants, and it leads to a big shootout that leave a couple of people dead and a hole in Jimmy’s stolen baseball card.
Overall, I thought the movie was funny, and featured a lot of action . Some of Tracy’s comedy came off flat, but overall,it was good. Bruce Willis was kind of funny in it as well. I think Tracy Morgan’s humor was contagious.
