Top Critics Gave New ‘Let Me In’ Movie Very Positive Reviews

Top critics gave new ‘Let Me In’ movie very positive reviews. Overture Films released their new horror/thriller flick “Let Me In” into theaters today,and the top movie critics were very impressed with it,giving it nothing but As and Bs across the board. The movie stars: Kodi Smit-McPhee, Chloe Moretz, Richard Jenkins, Elias Koteas, Cara Buono,and Sasha Barrese.

Ty Burr at the Boston Globe gave it a B- rating. He said, “It’s an honorable attempt, but there’s still no genuine need for this film to exist.” Roger Ebert at the Chicago Sun-Times gave it an A-. He stated, “Those hoping to see a “vampire movie” will be surprised by a good film.”

Michael Phillips at the Chicago Tribune gave it a B. He said, “a shrewd American remake of the Swedish original.” Owen Gleiberman at Entertainment Weekly gave it a B+. He said, “The story is still awfully languid, but Let Me In has greater potency than Let the Right One In.”

Bill Gibron at Filmcritic.com gave it an A-. He stated, “one of the best, boldest coming of age statements ever.” Michael Rechtshaffen from the Hollywood Reporter gave it an A-. He stated, “This unsettling, effective American remake really gets under the skin as one of the year’s most powerful thrillers.”

Peter Travers at Rolling Stone gave it a B. He said, “a mood of chilling terror.” Scott Bowles over at USA Today gave it another A-. He said, “Despite being about vampires, Let Me In can feel chillingly real.”
