New ‘Social Network’ movie delivered great, interesting drama & more. Columbia Pictures released their new drama flick “The Social Network”into theaters this weekend, and I must agree with the top movie critic’s perfect positive assessment of this movie. It delivered great,drama-filled,informative scenes about the true life story of Facebook’s origin. The movie stars: Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Timberlake, Andrew Garfield, Joe Mazzello, and Rashida Jones.

“The Social Network” movie revolved around the true life story of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg),along with the people he worked with in the beginning. It follows how Mark built a popular website before Facebook that generated 22,000 hits in 2 hours. It was a site that let people rate which girl was better looking out of two choices.

The only problem was that he hacked all the pictures from the College’s database, and got put on academic probation for it. It was a very interesting story. Eventually, Mark was approached by some college students that were impressed with his work, and they wanted his help on an idea they had about a social networking site that would be restricted only to Harvard students. Mark liked the idea and agreed to help them out. It was going to be called “The Harvard Connection.”

Fortunately, for Mark, he had a bigger vision for it,and decided to launch his own version of the idea, causing “The Facebook” to be born. Mark teamed up with his best friend and co-founder Eduardo Saverin (Andrew Garfield). Eduardo provided the funding for the project, while Mark did all the extreme, technical coding that makes all those Facebook features work.

Later on, they met up with Sean Parker (Justin Timberlake) who helped expand Facebook into a business, and also convinced Mark to drop the “The” and just make it “Facebook.” After that, conflicts arose as Eduardo got shoved more into the background and eventually out of the company.

Also, the students who approached Mark with the idea, filed a lawsuit against him, claiming that he stole their idea. Eduardo also filed a lawsuit. The movie went into that aspect in good detail, featuring some real good drama.I really liked this movie. It was very interesting to learn about how much drama took place during the early stages of Facebook.

I thought Justin Timberlake did a great job as Sean Parker. Jesse Eisenberg really got Mark Zuckerberg’s mannerisms down pat. I also liked the performance of the new Spider Man actor Andrew Garcia as character Eduardo. It was my first time seeing him on screen. I gave “The Social Network” a perfect A grade. “The Social Network” movie is in theaters now. Get your “The Social Network” movie tickets at Fandango by Clicking Here.
