Captain America First Avenger Movie Delivered Great Action,Cool Ending Twist & More
Captain America First Avenger movie delivered great action, cool ending twist & more.
Paramount and Marvel Studios released their new super hero, action flick “Captain America: The First Avenger” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it delivered pretty good action and drama with the buff Chris Evans. The movie stars: Chris Evans, Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving, Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan, Dominic Cooper, Toby Jones, Neal McDonough, Derek Luke, and Stanley Tucci.
In the flick, a skinny Steve Rogers tries to enlist into the army five times, but kept getting turned down due to his numerous health problems. However, on his 6th try,he meets Dr. Abraham Erskine (Stanley Tucci) who looks beyond Steve’s physical short-comings to see his strong inside.
Dr. Erskine gives Steve a passing grade so he can join the army, knowing that he can fix Steve’s physical weaknesses. After about a couple of days of struggling in the army camp,Steve proves himself worthy of Erskine’s experiment to create a super soldier after jumping on a fake bomb when everyone else ran off.
The experiment made him taller, buff, much stronger, and quicker in just a few minutes. Shortly after, Steve struggled with his new powers when he was forced to do other things. But when he finds out his friend ‘Bucky’ Barnes (Sebastian Stan) has been captured by Johann Schmidt aka Red Skull (Hugo Weaving) and his army,he decides to take on his first mission as Captain America, and ends up rescuing Buck and 400 hundred soldiers.
From that point on,Captain America was a name everyone respected. He led them on numerous missions before one fatal mission caused his friend Bucky to get killed. After that,Captain America decided to kill off all of Red Skull’s plans and him along with it.
This led up to a very exciting,action-filled conclusion that involved a huge fight on a plane, which caused a big twist in the story and a guest appearance by Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury. Hell,I thought the ending twist was probably the most interesting part. It was that good.
The movie contained a lot of action scenes, including Captain America fighting off hundreds of men at one time, lots of explosions and gun fights, a huge showdown between Captain America and the Red Skull, and more.
I thought the movie was fun to watch once the action kicked in, I never got bored watching it,and it was interesting to see the build-up to Steve’s transformation. I think Chris Evans made for a very good Captain America. The dude is pretty buff. The numerous action scenes kept me awake and into it,and I loved the ending twist. I gave the movie an A- grade.
