New Alvin Chipmunks 3 Chipwrecked Movie Delivered Good Comedy,Adventure & More
New Alvin Chipmunks 3 Chipwrecked movie delivered good comedy, adventure & more. 20th Century Fox released their new adventure/comedy flick “Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: Chipwrecked” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and I thought it was pretty good. It had a good plotline and some good comedy. The movie stars: Jason Lee, David Cross, Jenny Slate, Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Amy Poehler, Anna Faris, and Christina Applegate.
In the flick, Alvin and the Chipmunks, along with the Chipettes went on a cruise with Dave to get to the international music awards. Unfortunately, Dave still couldn’t get Alvin to stay under control and behave. The chipmunks kept causing incidents onboard the chip that put them in a position to nearly get kicked off.
However, they wouldn’t have to get kicked off because Alvin’s latest stunt had them flying off the ship by hang gliders and kites. The chipmunks accidentally flew off the ship by kite, and Dave went after them in a hang glider, while fighting with good old Ian (David Cross),taking them both off the chip.
They all ended up on an island at separate times,so Dave ad Ian spent most of the movie trying to find the chipmunks, while the chipmunks hoped, patiently that Dave would find them. The chipmunks also ran into some chick named Zoe who had been on the island for a while, secretly looking for gold, but didn’t let them know it.
Throughout the movie, the chipmunks experienced lots of usual bumbling action,Simon changed personalities to become a French mouse with lots of courage after getting bit by a spider, and Ian and Dave went back and forth with the arguing. It was pretty funny and entertaining to watch.
Towards the end, they ran into lots of danger, and Zoe proved to be quite crazy after appearing to be nice at first. It concluded with a suspenseful ending, which had Ian reaching deep down inside to find his good side.
I thought the movie was fun to watch. It was never boring. I originally thought it was going to be too silly, but it wasn’t. Don’t get me wrong it did have some silly moments, especially at the beginning, but it panned out to be a pretty good,adventurous-themed, movie. I gave it a solid B+ grade.
