New ‘Expendables 2’ movie delivered tons of wicked action,explosions & more. Lionsgate released their new,wild, action flick “Expendables 2” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and thought it was excellent. It served up plenty of hardcore action,drama,explosions,and more. The movie stars: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Liam Hemsworth, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis,and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
In the new flick, the expendables get deployed to Nepal in order to rescue a Chinese businessman. After they successfully completed that assignment, They accepted a mission from Church (Bruce Willis) to retrieve an item from a safe that was located in an airplane that was shot down in Albania.
The team is accompanied by tech genius Maggie (Yu Nan),and eventually retrieve the item from the airplane. After that, they run into big trouble when they discover that one of their team members ,named Billy (Liam Hemsworth), has been captured by Jean Vilain (Jean-Claude Van Damme), who intends to retrieve the item they found.
The Expendables give up the item,but Jean goes ahead and kills Billy anyways. Next, Maggie tells the Expendables that the mystery item they took was a computer, containing a blueprint to an abandoned Soviet Union mine which stores plutonium. Jean and his men planned to find the plutonium and sell it.
From this point, Barney (Sylvester Stallone) orders the Expendables to track down Jean and his men,and kill them all. They traveled to the mines,where lots of gun fights,combat,murder,explosions,and more immediately took place,leading to a huge conclusion that involved Barney getting mad revenge for Billy’s death and Barney’s right hand man Lee Christmas (Jason Statham) getting major revenge on Jean’s right hand man Hector.
The conclusion also involved another big shootout, where all the heroes were seen battling it out in wicked “guns-blazing” action. Again, I really enjoyed watching the movie,especially since it had the revenge factor going for it.Whenever they have the revenge motivation,it always makes me root more.
