New ‘Pitch Perfect’ Movie Delivered Great Comedy,Drama,Story & More
New ‘Pitch Perfect’ movie delivered great comedy, drama, story & more. Universal Pictures released their new comedy flick “Pitch Perfect” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and I thought it was an excellent “feel good” movie with plenty of great comedy, drama, and more. It stars: Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Rebel Wilson, Alexis Knapp, Adam DeVine, and Freddie Stroma.
In the new flick, character Beca (Anna Kendrick of Twilight Saga movies) is forced to go to a college in Carolina by her father in stead of pursuing her true dreams of moving to Los Angeles,California and producing music. Once there, she goes against everything she thought was cool ,and joins the Bellas acapella singing group after her father promises to fund her true dreams if she gives the whole college thing a real shot for a year.
Group leader Aubrey really, really wants to make it back to the International Acapella Contest finals for a chance to win it all after throwing up onstage the previous year ,and losing to their same-campus competition the “Treble Makers.” However, Aubrey is extremely controlling and won’t listen to new ideas from anyone. She also insists on doing the same boring routines they’ve done for years.
Aubrey and Beca constantly butt heads when Beca tries to get Aubrey to switch things up. The drama eventually comes to head, causing Beca to walk out on the group and the Bellas seemingly losing their shot at the finals.
However, a technicality in the rules, gives the Bellas another chance at the finals, but only if Beca and Aubrey can learn to work together and change up things. This newfound reuniting leads to a great feel-good conclusion that involves lots of great singing and the Bellas girls ,breaking out of their old shell ,onstage, and delivering one hell of a winning performance. Beca also learns how to drop her defensive walls and let people help her.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this flick. It was never boring, and served up a ton of laughs throughout,as well as entertaining musical numbers. I totally dig Twilight Saga star Anna Kendrick as an actress . She delivered a really funny and sharp performance. Also,it was nice to see Brittany Snow back on the big screen as character Chloe. I hadn’t seen her since that “Prom Night” flick a couple years ago. Anyways, I gave the movie a perfect A grade. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.
